Devlog 13: Hourly Goals

A brand new devlog from Canada!
Last week I began breaking up working sessions into hourly goals that I needed to hit. Creating a sense of urgency really helped me get started, and with this technique, I was able to finish a lot of UI that I may not have otherwise gotten done within the week. I'm really hoping to finish everything in Chapter 2 by next week. Currently the biggest challenges I have to completing it are needing to create three more new minigames, and making the casefile. I will also be taking some breaks over the winter holidays, so my devlogs will briefly become a little more irregular. However it will be back to weekly posts on Tuesdays by January. Until next time! In the last few stages of the Canadian detective competition, Detective Larika Downs is determined to find out who could be running such a questionable contest. Joining her are Detectives Tads, Anadyne, Struess, and Viu. By working together, will they find out the truth?

Methods: The Canada Files is a prequel visual novel to Methods: The Detective Competition. It features a brand new story, a new cast of eccentric characters, and a new style of mystery-solving gameplay designed to present more of a challenge. Solve puzzles and present evidence to refute faulty theories. Choose which of your teammate's methods to use to tackle the problem at hand.

Playing Methods: The Detective Competition first is highly recommended, but not required to understand the story.
