Devlog 28: Hard Coding


The latest French Canadian devlog...!
I spent the past week coding Chapter 7, drawing the evidence icons, and getting everything implemented. I also made some revisions to the backgrounds. Basically all the code is in place interrogations, inspecting evidence, that's all done I'm just missing the chapter's minigames. Once again, the minigames trip me up! In the last few stages of the Canadian detective competition, Detective Larika Downs is determined to find out who could be running such a questionable contest. Joining her are Detectives Tads, Anadyne, Struess, and Viu. By working together, will they find out the truth?

Methods: The Canada Files is a prequel visual novel to Methods: The Detective Competition. It features a brand new story, a new cast of eccentric characters, and a new style of mystery-solving gameplay designed to present more of a challenge. Solve puzzles and present evidence to refute faulty theories. Choose which of your teammate's methods to use to tackle the problem at hand.

Playing Methods: The Detective Competition first is highly recommended, but not required to understand the story.
