In the last few stages of the Canadian detective competition, Detective Larika Downs is determined to find out who could be running such a questionable contest. Joining her are Detectives Tads, Anadyne, Struess, and Viu. By working together, will they find out the truth?
Methods: The Canada Files is a prequel visual novel to Methods: The Detective Competition. It features a brand new story, a new cast of eccentric characters, and a new style of mystery-solving gameplay designed to present more of a challenge. Solve puzzles and present evidence to refute faulty theories. Choose which of your teammate's methods to use to tackle the problem at hand.
Playing Methods: The Detective Competition first is highly recommended, but not required to understand the story.

Devlog 37: Shadows of Suspects

The last time I checked in with a devlog, I'd begun writing Chapter 12. Here's what I've done since then.

Finished 2 sprites
Created a rough version of one background
Writing on Chapter 12 is 40% complete
Created a mock-up for an improved version of the UI

Chapter 12 is a lot like Chapter 7 a big investigation which also took me a long time to write last time. But just like File 02, the other chapters don't have as many things to complete.

I'd had a hard time finding a good map showing the Iqaluit region, so I just had drawn the region of Nunavut there. But recently I found a better map, so I have now fixed the Iqaluit file icon which is why it's been changed.
