We'd also like to disclose that, with so many new features added since the game's release, we've had to make a decision about pricing. After 1st of May, A Castle Full of Cats will cost $3.99. This change won't affect anyone who already owns the game or those who purchase it before the price adjustment. And, of course, everyone who owns the game by the time the update rolls out will be able to play it without additional cost. kleines

We're purring out loud to announce a major update for A Castle Full of Cats. It took a little bit longer then expected but now finally here. :fofino:

This update brings the game closer to our original vision. It's been almost a year and a half since we released A Castle Full of Cats, and it has been our most successful game to date. Thank you so much for all your support! :crycat2:



One part of the game that never quite clicked with the team was the "coffin puzzle," which always felt like it had an underwhelming conclusion. Last year, I told the team, "No more meows! It's time to fix this!" And now, here it is!

The "coffin puzzle" now leads to a whole new area, where more cursed cats await your healing touch!

We also have some great news about A Tower Full of Cats; we're putting the finishing touches on the game and polishing some rough edges so you can have the best possible experience. We will soon announce the official release date, which will be sometime in May. :wrycat:

Hi humans!

Arcade update is up and a lot have changed:

There are new images for the arcade poster (title screen and coffin), and also a popup when you find the poster.

As a lot of you have requested, there's no penalty on Fofio's fight anymore. Now padlocks will not lock back if you fail to find all 4 cats in the screen. fofino

One trick people were using while playing Arcade mode was to take a screenshot and pause the game. Because of this we've changed the way the arcade works. Now if you pause the game, all 4 cats will change positions, and even if you already find some of them, they'll be reset.
This is not ideal but it's better than the old method.

Steam Leaderboards were reset. The old leaderbords will remain available on Steam.

Hello humans!

2022 was a great year for us! We've released 4 games, a minigame, a comic book and a lot of aditional content for those games. Not to mention the other 4 games we are working on right now!

That's a lot of work, so we need more paws to help us.



This is Leo, Devcats' new intern.
He was found all alone in our yard, feist as a little feral cat really is. We rescued him and within 5 days he bloomed into a sweet little boy, purring loud every time we pet him.

If you follow us on instagram (@luadogato) you already know all that.

We named him Leo and he still need to be approved by all of us cats, but most likely he's going to stay with us permanently.

Catherine's minigame is now part of the Bag of Treats DLC.


This is a homage to the 80s LCD games.
To make sure you have the final version, please delete the DLC folder and download it again. The music was not working in the minigame on a previous version and apparentely the new version will not be downloaded if you already had the DLC installed.


We also uploaded new patches to fix some bugs and glitches you guys reported. We apawlogize fur any inconvenience!

We have been tirelessly working on our new game: A Castle Full of Cats.
If you liked A Building Full of Cats you're definitely going to love this one!
This Castle is much bigger, with more cats (and items!) to find and you're able to talk to some of our NPC's too! As usual, by the end of the game, there's something special. We really hope you enjoy it.

We should charge more for this game but we wanted the game to be affordable for the most of you, humans.
So we decided to launch the game for US$3 and we made a DLC for those who would like to help us and also see the "Catherine version" of the events in the game. Remember her? She's from one of our other games, Zodiacats.

Hello, humans!

It's been almost a week since ACFOC demo's launch and we are very happy with the results so far! lovecat
Watching your videos playing our demo was very helpful to us: we have already made some changes on the counter and doors, and we're also changing the dialog box and tutorial.

Furthermore, this game is going to be much bigger than A Building Full of Cats.
Here is a comparison:



Not only that, but also the rooms have much more details now. You will indeed need that zoom. wadacat

The demo starts on the main hall but the full game starts outside the castle. We chose the hall because it's better at showing how the game structure looks.

Another thing that was left out the demo was the map and its extra items (keys and relics). You can play the game just looking for the cats on each room and move on, but there will be some side missions to solve, in case you have a good heart and wish to help other cats on your way. winkycat

The original plan was October 24th, a day before the Steam Scream festival, to celebrate Halloween.
However, we were not accepted in the festival... fofino
So we decided to move the release date to November 2nd. This will also give us extra time to polish the game.

A lot of you have asked for a zoom feature in A Building Full of Cats. Unfortunately that entire game was made in 1920x1080 resolution -- a mistake we're not making again!

So here is the new feature for A Castle Full of Cats:


This was needed also because ACFoC doesn't have the same size for all rooms; in fact, almost all of the rooms have different sizes and proportions.

After seeing ABFoC reception, we decided to improve the next game: we redrew every cat in the game! Now you won't just spot the cursed cats, you're going to heal them as well! fofino2

Because of that, we postponed Cats Love Boxes launch to the end of the year.

COZY ROOM
That's the game we're willing to launch next. We don't have a release date yet but we hope to launch it in September.

A CASTLE FULL OF CATS
A Castle Full of Cats development is going well and we believe it will be a worthy successor to A Building Full of Cats. winkycat
A demo will be available on the October edition of Next Fest, so you can play the game before buying it.

SUDOCATS
There is going to be a small content update later this month, which will also include 2 new languages: Japanese and Russian.
