Hi humans! Arcade update is up and a lot have changed: There are new images for the arcade poster (title screen and coffin), and also a popup when you find the poster. As a lot of you have requested, there's no penalty on Fofio's fight anymore. Now padlocks will not lock back if you fail to find all 4 cats in the screen. fofino One trick people were using while playing Arcade mode was to take a screenshot and pause the game. Because of this we've changed the way the arcade works. Now if you pause the game, all 4 cats will change positions, and even if you already find some of them, they'll be reset. This is not ideal but it's better than the old method. Steam Leaderboards were reset. The old leaderbords will remain available on Steam. That's it fur now. Hello humans! 2022 was a great year for us! We've released 4 games, a minigame, a comic book and a lot of aditional content for those games. Not to mention the other 4 games we are working on right now! That's a lot of work, so we need more paws to help us.
This is Leo, Devcats' new intern. He was found all alone in our yard, feist as a little feral cat really is. We rescued him and within 5 days he bloomed into a sweet little boy, purring loud every time we pet him. If you follow us on instagram (@luadogato) you already know all that. We named him Leo and he still need to be approved by all of us cats, but most likely he's going to stay with us permanently. ~~~~~~~~~~ We created a special bundle for the end of the year! Hello, humans! A Castle Full of Cats launched a week ago and we are very happy with the results so far! fofino2 We have been working all the week long on solving small problems and making quality of life changes suggested by you. Patch notes:

• Changed the "back" navigation arrows
• The zoom now follows the cursor
• Fixed the mouse lag
• It's now possible to click and drag on a door without entering it
• Tweaked some things on Fofio's fight to make it more forgiving
• Removed the most difficult cats from Fofio's fight
• The hint system now zooms in
• Hint particles last longer now
• Almost all rooms were optimized
• Changed the way the game renders some bigger maps
• Fixed some size limits for making the game working on older GPUs
• New SFX for Fofio's door
• New SFX for the kittens
• Fixed Catchulhu's sign showing the text always in English
• It's now possible to exit the map by clicking out the map
• New coordinate/zoom when entering some rooms
• Changed the Credits tab
• Fixed some typos
• Fixed achievements not triggering when playing offline
• A lot of minor changes that we forgot already ^^

Trading Cards for A Castle Full of Cats are available now! Zodiacats and Sudocats are on the making, they just need some adjustments to be 100% approved by Steam, but next week they're ready, hopefully!

Catherine's Mission

Catherine's minigame is now part of the Bag of Treats DLC.
This is a homage to the 80s LCD games. To make sure you have the final version, please delete the DLC folder and download it again. The music was not working in the minigame on a previous version and apparentely the new version will not be downloaded if you already had the DLC installed. We also uploaded new patches to fix some bugs and glitches you guys reported. We apawlogize fur any inconvenience! Patch notes:

• Fixed mouse appearing behind some dialog boxes
• Fixed some songs that were not looping
• Fixed Simplified Chinese that wasn't working
• Added titles for each room
• Fofio timer extended by 7 seconds
• Several performance improvements (more coming)

Hi, humans! fofino Vets always say that we cats need to sleep 16 hours a day. Well, we haven't. crycat2 We have been tirelessly working on our new game: A Castle Full of Cats. If you liked A Building Full of Cats you're definitely going to love this one! This Castle is much bigger, with more cats (and items!) to find and you're able to talk to some of our NPC's too! As usual, by the end of the game, there's something special. We really hope you enjoy it. We should charge more for this game but we wanted the game to be affordable for the most of you, humans. Hello, humans! It's been almost a week since ACFOC demo's launch and we are very happy with the results so far! lovecat Watching your videos playing our demo was very helpful to us: we have already made some changes on the counter and doors, and we're also changing the dialog box and tutorial. Furthermore, this game is going to be much bigger than A Building Full of Cats. Here is a comparison:
Not only that, but also the rooms have much more details now. You will indeed need that zoom. wadacat The demo starts on the main hall but the full game starts outside the castle. We chose the hall because it's better at showing how the game structure looks. Another thing that was left out the demo was the map and its extra items (keys and relics). You can play the game just looking for the cats on each room and move on, but there will be some side missions to solve, in case you have a good heart and wish to help other cats on your way. winkycat

RELEASE DATE

The original plan was October 24th, a day before the Steam Scream festival, to celebrate Halloween. However, we were not accepted in the festival... fofino So we decided to move the release date to November 2nd. This will also give us extra time to polish the game. Anyway, that's it for meow.
