Thanks so much for playing and all of the feedback! We've made a small patch fixing a few bugs and even adding a neat feature to turn On/Off Screen Shake and some of the slowdown effects. V2.01 - Fixed player's aircraft becoming invincible after firing a charge shot with the C aircraft when the screen changes when clearing a stage. -Fixed an issue where normal shots could no longer be fired after repeatedly hitting the shot button until the screen went black when using B or D aircraft. - Fixed an issue in training mode where all mid-sized aircraft would stop working in stage 4-B, making it impossible to progress. - You can now open the SECRET OPTION on the fighter select screen and training screen. Press and hold the SKIP button to open the menu and use left and right to select. You can switch On/Off of screen shaking and hit slowdowns. - Changed not to move to the ranking screen when GAMEOVER in training mode. - Increased suite bonus for Stage 4-B. - Changed some attacks in Stage 5-B. - Increased the HP increase rate of FRIEND of Ship G. - Updated SDL 2.0 library (hopefully fixes [FATAL] SDL_main : Failed to init SDL: Couldn't create the sensor manager bug) Thanks so much to everyone's feedback in the discussions for helping us get a patch out so quickly!

Dear Everyone, We'd first like to thank all of HEY's fans for supporting them over these years. We are pleased to announce the release of Mecha Ritz: Steel Rondo 2.0 coming out November 3rd! We've put a lot of work into polishing this release for both PC and Console release. To be quite honest it was a lot more work and unfortunately took a lot longer than expected. The original Mecha Ritz: Steel Rondo release on PC came out over 6 years ago now. Unfortunately with these additional development costs being more than expected, we have decided to raise the price point of the PC version to match our console releases. To be completely clear, this change will only affect future purchases. That said, everyone who already owns the game will be getting all of these new updates for FREE! So more than likely if you are reading this there's no need to worry. Until then of course feel free to spread the word to all your friends! We really hope you will enjoy a lot of the new changes/fixes/updates on which we consider the "definitive" (at least latest) edition of Mecha Ritz: Steel Rondo! Sincerely, Hanaji Games

ENGLISH TRANSLATION "This is the creator of Mecha Ritz:Steel Rondo, Yuki Shouhei, but you can just call me HEY if you want. I'm pleased to finally release this title to the whole world. It's all thanks to the help of Hanaji Games and their creative staff, as well as the support of our enthusiastic fans and friends. I am truly, truly grateful to all of you. I was responsible for producing the graphics, sound, text, and programming for this release. Now that the game is released, I thought I would share a few of my own thoughts. My goal with this project was to "Spread the fun of shoot 'em ups". In order to do that, I tried to create a game that would appeal to the widest audience possible, regardless or skill or experience. One of my solutions to cater to the needs of more skilled players was to implement a ranking system. Of course, I didn't stop there. I tried to sneak in elements that would get everyone's heart racing. Shoot 'em ups are incredibly easy to grasp. "You aim, you shoot". It's about as primitive as you can get. Even nowadays, I feel confident that its appeal has not yet waned, and everyone can find enjoyment out of it. And even though I'm the creator, I think there are limitless ways in which to present such games. For this game, I will be happy if it contributes even a little bit to the shoot 'em up genre. I pray for the shoot 'em up genre to continue to grow and become more and more varied. Of course, I happen to be exceptionally passionate about the genre, so I intend to devote myself to more games in the future. Going forward I, Yuki Shouhei, will continue to create, with even more original concepts, so please look forward to that. I know this comes a bit late, but I look forward to hearing from you." -Yuki Shouhei
