Hi all- Interior Worlds' newest and biggest post-release update is now live with version 1.1.0! This is a major content update, with lots of new little things going on. You can expect these in version 1.1.0:
- Massive new forest level with a fair share of unique areas and secrets.
- 23 hidden photo filters you can use to give photos a whole new look.
- 10 hidden tape objects to collect that lead to an interesting unlockable.
- 8 brand new achievements to go with both the new content, and some of the previous.
- A small photo thumbnail to help preview your snapshots as you take them!
- More menu options and settings; volume sliders, visual toggles, sprint toggle, etc.
- New little easter eggs and subtle spooks to give you
- Slight performance boosts all around (hoping this is the case- the lowest spec gpu had to test on was a 1080 and I didn't have much of an impact).

Hey all- Been awhile! Wanted to give everyone the heads up that Interior Worlds is getting a huge content update, containing all sorts of new goodies, and it's nearly ready to go. Things you can look forward to in the update are:
- A brand new level: a huge and detailed abandoned forest set during a distant thunderstorm. Expect sprawling paths, various unique areas, and plenty of new secrets to uncover.
- Photo filter overlays: a new way to capture any photo you take. Every filter applies a unique effect through the camera viewfinder and will bake into the final photo. You'll have to find all 22 throughout the game's levels first though!
- Hidden collectibles: each main level will contain a new, hidden collectible that unlocks a very interesting effect while playing the game!
- 8 new Steam Achievements.
- Photo preview mode: you'll now have the option to have your most recent photo display in a small thumbnail each time on screen instead of going into your album everytime.
- Additional options: you'll now have toggles for both the game's film grain and retro effect, as well as disabling the photo preview thumbnail if you desire.
- New individual volume sliders to control different types of audio.
- Performance boosts to previously hardware intensive levels.
- A few new easter egg secrets...

Hi all- Pushed an update to the Linux version that hopefully fixes the issue of not being able to launch the game natively. The fix involved reconfiguring how Unity handles the libsteam_api.so plugin for the Linux platform on Steam. It didn't look like the plugin folder was being created when downloading the game, so it crashed when looking for data that didn't exist. If any Linux users are still encountering a segfault or any similar crash-related errors when launching natively, let me know and I will continue to investigate. Thanks, sodaraptor

Hi all- So Interior Worlds has been out for well over a month now, and while I'm still in the middle of working on polishing certain aspects of the game, I'm beginning to think on what new additions I'd like to save for a future update. It's not much, but as of now this is what I have brewing for that update:
- Briefly showing a small thumbnail of a photo in the corner after taking one (so you don't have to always check the photo album after every shot).
- Adding a small selection of different camera filters to cycle through before taking a photo (sepia, b/w, red, green, blue, etc.).
- Additional option menu items (individual sliders for master/sfx/ambience volumes, grain filter toggle, etc.).
- Shortcut key to directly open the in-game photo album.
- A new, full level (or two).
- More dynamic (but still subtle) spooks~
If you'd like to be more involved in the development of future content, consider joining the Interior Worlds Discord server!
Thanks again to everyone who's played and reviewed Interior Worlds. Some big things are in store for Interior Worlds coming up, so keep your eyes peeled~ P.S. I still have that update with a fix to the native linux version of the game planned, so sit tight. Sorry it's taking so long. Thanks, sodaraptor steamthis

Hi all- First off, my unending thanks to everyone who's played, enjoyed, and reviewed Interior Worlds so far, as well as those who've joined the discord server. It all means so much to me, and really keeps my inspiration train going for more updates, more content, and more future games. Anyways- an update is planned for this Saturday, 4/15, which will contain the following:
- Official builds for Mac and Linux.
- Bug fixes, including those involving sequence breaking, going out of bounds, and achievements not triggering (missed achievements, such as finding all the secrets, will be retroactively rewarded once you go back into the Main Menu).
- General polish to areas left otherwise uninteresting.
- Fixes to any broken "anomalous sightings" throughout the game.
- Fixes/polish to the hidden "minigame".

Hey all-
It's finally done and out! After what started out as a small month-long project, Interior Worlds has blossomed into something I'm very proud of and excited for you to experience.
With a lot of help from @normalhumansixx, I was able to create a game about a subject I've been interested in for years now. Liminal spaces. Using the unique SLR camera mechanic, you can create YOUR OWN photos in this aesthetic- crustified, timestamped, and drenched in that moody liminal atmosphere we've all come to love- right out of the box.
Also- in order for me to test properly, there will be an upcoming patch out by next week which will include builds for both MAC and LINUX.
So grab the game, leave a review, and share your photos with the world!

Hey all-
The official Steam release for Interior Worlds is upon us, and just like I did with Hypnagogia: Boundless Dreams, I'm starting up another round of fan art submissions!
A quick breakdown:
- Your submission can be anything 2D, such as a photograph or illustration.
- It will be displayed as a painting in a hidden level, dedicated to showcasing art.
- Each artwork will be accompanied by a readable text box with a title and description.
- Submit through Twitter or Discord by March 29th!
Looking forward to seeing what you submit!

Empty hallways. Dark corners. Barren streets. The allure of a LIMINAL SPACE.
Grab your camera and head out into the unknown, yet oddly recognizable territories of INTERIOR WORLDS. A first-person exploration game where you're tasked with traversing and photographing various spaces that evoke that strange feeling of... familiarity.
- For this February's Steam Nextfest demo, you'll have access to the first world: a large, vacant parking deck that seems deserted...
- Capture all the hidden photo ops scattered throughout the demo level, all while soaking in a rich and unsettling atmosphere.
- Review up to 30 of your recorded photos from the main menu's album screen, with a higher capacity being available in the full version.
If you enjoyed the demo, be sure to WISHLIST for the official release this March. In the full version, look forward to:
- 9 full environments and 1 hidden level to explore.
- Up to 300 album slots to save your captured photos.
- Unsettling and deeply ambient soundscape, unique to each level.
- Achievements.

Empty lots. Blackened buildings. Dimly lit hallways.
They all live and breathe just as we do.
Welcome to Interior Worlds; an ambient first person exploration game where you'll dive into strange, yet familiar spaces. Temporary gaps and portals we cross at some point or another - now yearning for a closer look. A look that can only be seen properly through the lens of an SLR camera.
- Use your vintage and mysterious analog camera to capture stunning photographs of environmental anomalies throughout each environment. Keep a sharp eye out while traversing the more unsettling locations.
- Track and share your own in-game catalog of photos, pre-filtered with subtle layers of peak liminal crust.
- Ten unique thresholds to traverse. A roadside hotel, empty movie theater, dying mall, and many more. Every environment is hand-crafted in a loving throwback to late 90's and early 00's graphics.
- Unparalleled interactivity. Activate vending machines, phones, sinks, televisions, or simply turn the lights on or off for a different photo-moment vibe.
- Immersive and unsettling soundscape. Melt into an eerie mix of low, rumbling drones and soft, stretched pads during the journey.
