General Update


*Added wall running
*10 new charms
*Added Hard mode which is the old normal, normal is the old easy, easy is easier
*A new room on each map
*Added outlines to most objects
*Mouse movement is much smoother
*If a map generates without a way out, it creates a new map
*Enemies with no navigation bug fixed
*Charms now properly reflect their pattern type
*Flying enemies die after a while to prevent players from getting stuck
*Lots more bug fixes and balance tweaks

Visual Update!


  • Toon style graphics overhaul
  • Better and moodier lighting and bloom

  • Removed windup for tap spells
  • Enemies are stunned when hit and wont be knocked back till they stop taking damage

Nekomancy needed some tlc and I learned a lot that could be applied from Wyrd Gun, so I made an update! The change was significant enough I created a beta branch for the version that has been up for the last year, you can access it in properties by typing the code "classicversion" in betas. Ill probably continue to work on other projects for a bit, but I will fix any bugs reported through the in-game bug reporter! Thanks for playing! You rule!

Spells Update!

[h2]Ice effect can now freeze enemies![/h2]
Critting enemies while they are fully slowed will freeze them for 3 seconds!

[h2]Mind Control Fixed![/h2]
Mind control now can be applied to multiple enemies and works like all the other statuses!

[h2]Target spells was added to the targeting cycler![/h2]
Lots of target spell interactions were added so it can be used to reverse enemy projectiles!
A target spells spell adds its effects, mods, and damage to the effected spell!
Effected spells are deflected and will target enemies and friendlies!

[h2]Better spell impact effects[/h2]
Infest, Gravity Blast, and Magnetic were given visual effects!
Things that come from spells like Explosions, gas, lightning chains, infest areas, gravity pulses, impacts, and cast flashes are much more optimized and responsive!

[h2]Insane mode changes[/h2]
Difficulty of early insane levels were changed to be easier!

[h2]Nekonomicon and Loadout Profiles[/h2]
You can now save your current nekonomicon or loadout to a save slot to try other builds!
Be sure to mind wipe any pre-update builds before you use the save system!

...and some other bug fixes and balance changes!

Polish Update!

Difficulty Update!

Added difficulty modes!
Easy, Normal, and Insane! Insane locks your madness at 100 and starts you at Tier 2 patterns! Beating one tier of insane unlocks the next tier of insane and can scale infinitely!

Runs can now Loop back to the beginning! Enemies after looping are much more difficult but knowledge is more plentiful!

Lots of Balancing! Its a little rough on different difficulties but ill iron it out!

Madness is less difficult since there are difficulty options now!

Bug Fixes!

More changes are coming to insane mode soon and there will be more uses for knowledge! I also need to do some optimizations because the game freezes a lot on madness 100.

The game has been moved to a more recent version of unity!

Code optimization!
The game is way harder to lock up!

Tap spells are tappier!
Infest effect has a larger radius!
