Version 0.12 is now completed and is in play testing. New gameplay is pretty short in this one since the new scenes required a lot of poses and complex movement, and the scene immediately following requires new locations and characters that will be coming in version 0.13. We also added a new background that isn't used in this version yet. Under the hood we've made some major changes. The GUI should look more or less the same but the way it works will make translations a lot easier for us. All of the menu tabs that say Start, Load, Options, etc used to be pictures that already included text. Now the buttons are all blank and the game generates the text on top which sounds simple but turned out to be pretty tricky. In addition to that I added hover effects for all of the buttons based on some feedback from controller users. Hover effects used to only be on about half of the buttons previously, but with the new button text system adding hover effects to everything was easier to implement. Coming in about 30 days is version 0.13 which will include the story that we don't have the assets for now and is also planned to include 3 new characters, 3-4 new backgrounds, and 4 new scenes.
