Today we finally get to write the sentence weve been working toward: Log Away launches on December 4, 2025. That feels so good to be finally able to reveal! Weve spent a lot of late nights nudging details into place, and hitting publish on a date is one of those small studio moments your remember forever.

The Work
Weve added a huge number of additional items and more ways to build and decorate across locations and seasons. Some are small touches, some change the mood of a space in a big way. Well keep some surprises for launch day, but if youve been following along (or have played the demo), youll notice so many improvements and changes the moment you start building and placing things. Also, the Coziness System is a new feature that wasn\'t available before, and a friendly Tutorial was a must that\'s been implemented only recently. As we move closer to the release date, we\'ll share more details about the features and content.

A Much Different Game
As you might have already noticed, Log Away is a much different game from Saint Kotar: The Crawling Man: different genre, different mood and vibe, completely different mechanics. But just like Saint Kotar, there is a message this game tries to convey to the players, although, again, a different one.
Log Away grew out on the back of every day, modern life. We all feel the stress, have too much responsibilities, and too little time for ourselves. Log Away's message and goal for the player is to slow down a bit to rekindle with their inner self while building a cabin in solitude, surrounded only by nature and pets. Nothing in the game is urgent and anything is possible within the sandbox setting. Honestly, it's been doing wonder for us during the countless hours of playtesting, and so we truly hope it succeeds for the wider audience across the globe.

Log Away might be a simple game to play, but it features hundreds of items, a dozen locations, and many tools (which wecall" the cozy tools") that allow you to personalize every moment as you play it. A fan fact is thatits soundtrack was composed by Chris Haugen, the author whose songs were featured in the movie Into the Wild. Thematically, themovie and the game are a perfect match.

We didn't sell the company, nothing has changed in that regard; it is still 100% owned by its original founder. The founder is the CEO and Creative Director, just like he was during the development of Saint Kotar: The Crawling Man and the full game Saint Kotar.

Spanning nearly 70 pages, The Art of Saint Kotar includes many materials that have never been revealed in public before. It's a book that showcases a selection of ideas, research materials, concept artwork, and final artwork. Years of work and passion put on paper. Much of what you see in there didn't make it to the final game, yet it was still helpful in reaching the end.
The Sound of Saint Kotar includes a total of 22 tracks, both in MP3 and WAV format, featured in the base game and The Ritual DLC. Its mysterious atmosphere and creaking noises will set the mood to play Saint Kotar, or, for that matter, any work with a mysterious premise.
Did you know? The eccentric character that goes by the name Mojse is at the centre of the plot in The Yellow Mask. He's also the main protagonist in The Crawling Man. Plots from both are interconnected between them, as well as with the main game Saint Kotar.
