By spring, we plan to finish the first day of Reimu's chapter (in the game it will be called "Destitute Chapter"). It will take approximately 3-4 hours to read (with all the variations) and will feature two choices leading to three different outcomes, all of which require text, visuals and music to be completed. Besides, if there are enough funds, the game will be translated into Japanese or Chinese (or both languages). The key word here is "funds" because our team does not have a full-time translator. Unfortunately, amateurs cannot be relied upon in this matter, because the text of the novel is its main element, and people without proper experience can turn it into a chaotic something that no native speaker will read. Accordingly, funds are needed to pay for the services of professionals. Therefore to my calculations, the translation into English (without which we will not be able to release the update) costs about 400-500$, and into Japanese - about 1000$ (because the Prologue is not translated into Japanese). The numbers are a bit too big for us, so we turn to you and remind you of the opportunity to support us on Boosty. Of course, we do not rule out the possibility that there may be a foreign Touhou fan who is a native speaker of the target language, but we should not count on this. Better safe than sorry.
