Today we bring you an update with requested features The first one are accessibility features which include:

Reusable Resting Places

With this setting you can reuse the current resting place to save your progress.

Endless Posture Break

With this setting, posture breaking enemies doesn't burn your stamina. This can be helpful for players that are having an harder time controlling their stamina.

Game Difficulty

You can switch between Easy, Normal and Hard. With this setting you can tweak the enemy health and receiving damage The other features also include:

Adjustable FOV

With this setting you can adjust the FOV to a value that allows you to have a confortable experience!

Mouse Interpolation

With this setting you can toggle off and on the mouse interpolation

Mirror players arms

Some players prefer playing with the characters arms inverted. That is possible with this toggle.

Costumizable Key Binds

You can use this settings option to configure key bindings.

Inverted Camera controls

Instead of completely inverting the camera controls, each mouse axis now has a separated option for you to toggle

Smaller changes and fixes

• AI behaviour improvements
• Drop rate buff to crate and box drops
• More fire weapons dropped in the levels
• Bells in the Forest/Areas entrances are better highlighted
• Adjusted player upgrades so they are easier to spot
• Fixes to hitboxes
• When reaching an upgrade sword for the first time, it will trigger a tutorial popup
• Visual adjustments to areas entrances
• Fixes to localization
• Boosted horror slider from 10 to 20

It has been a long journey to develop EVIL BELOW. Many ups and a few downs, but the game is finally done and available for everyone to experience. Since the beginning until the very end, this project was developed by two people who wanted to create something different. And starting today you get to experience our vision! The time has come. Steam Fest begins and our Demo for 'EVIL BELOW' is finally here. In this small Demo you'll be able to play in the Forest (one of five places you'll visit in the official release). In this Forest, you'll find dangerous threats of varying levels and characters that will tell you more about the world and how to survive. A few of the content of this build was designed specifically for this Demo and is subjected to change or cut entirely from the retail version (animations and events made only for this Demo). We are excited for you to experience our vision of modern horror gaming in this Demo. And with that out of the way, welcome to EVIL BELOW.

As Steam Fest begins, take a sneak peek into the new world of horror created by Fire Raven Studios. This Demo is the official one (represents what you will get in the final Build). 2 years ago, we released a proof of concept that we call 'Legacy Demo', that let players play around with the core ideas of the game we were developing. That one doesn't represent the final build. In EVIL BELOW you are a mother searching for her son in a semi-openworld landscape filled with never-ending forests, abandoned villages and claustrophobic caverns. Players will experience innovative game mechanics related to combat and puzzle solving utilizing their microphones to interact with the world in ways never seen before. We open our arms and invite you to explore this world starting 21st February 2022.
