Greetings Party! I hope you enjoyed your adventures across Kaltrion because we are now moving beyond this world! Yes, exactly! The Afterlife! https://store.steampowered.com/app/2866290/Elevator_Down/ Our new game, Elevator Down takes place in the Afterlife! Did you enjoy the humour of Bn'B but wanted it a smidge darker? Would you like:
- More gameplay?
- More impactful choices?
- More dating options?
- Way larger playtime?
- To stamp countless envelopes?
- To meet the Grim Reaper?
- To figure out if God is real?
- To delve into the depths of your own mortality in search of answers that might never have existed in the first place?
- A game that's a bit like Paper's Please but with sexier characters?

Greetings adventurers! We know you're all probably playing the other, slightly larger, high fantasy, party based RPG with dice, these days but that won't stop us from updating Bn'B for our loyal supporters! If you still haven't checked the game, now it's probably the best time to do so! https://store.steampowered.com/app/2236860/Basements_n_Basilisks_Storms_of_Sorcery/ A quick disclaimer that our bears have wings and can only be befriended. Anyway... Moving on! So what's new since the last update? We have rebalanced ALL the timers in the game, and removed a lot of them entirely. We heard you loud and clear and you were correct. Many timers did not need exist. So they are gone. And the rest are way more forgiving. This should lead you to enjoy the game in a way more leisurely pace. (Anything to get that median playtime up, amiright?) We destroyed some dead ends You awesome folks managed to find some dead ends, and inconsistencies in the story. Well I think we've squashed them all now (probably). One of the most important ones was in the Long Rest chapter during Galskap's backstory, that could prevent you from progressing and getting his achievement. This has been absolutely taken care of (probably). And don't forget our Latin American Localization The game is officially 100% available in English, Greek and Latin American Spanish! We're currently also working on Simplified Chinese and Russian but that's a story for another update! We really appreciate your feedback and we want to keep hearing from you! Speaking of which... WE ARE GOING TO GAMESCOM! Yes we are! We made it into the big leagues folks! We have the honour of being selected for the Indie Arena Booth! A big thank you to the Game Developers Association of Greece for financing us as part of their national delegation to the event! So if you want to meet us, talk to us, complain to us and play some Bn'B come by Cologne in two weeks! We are going to be in Hall 10.2, somewhere around Booth F010g - E019g. Can't wait to meet all of you! And who knows, maybe we'll have a surprise waiting if you come by the booth... steamhappy

- Fixed a bug where if the user clicked many times on a map button the game would load the background scene more than one times
- Fixed a bug where progression would hang on the "Long Rest" chapter with Pavel

Hola! We are happy to announce the release of the first on a series of localization updates, bringing Latin American Spanish to the game! We hope our Spanish speaking friends are able to enjoy the game and let us know what they think! https://store.steampowered.com/app/2236860/Basements_n_Basilisks/ A big thank you to Aarn Acencio for the localization and LQA. You are awesome! We also fixed some minor issues you folks pointed out during the past couple of months: [olist]

Two week after release and we finally did it!
Basements n' Basilisks is officially Steam Deck Verified!
I was about to head to bed when I got the mail from Valve!
We are really excited to hit this milestone since we've been desiging the game to be compatible with the Deck since it was first announced!
We got Valve's approval, so now is the perfect time to grab the game if you have a Deck!
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2236860/Basements_n_Basilisks_Storms_of_Sorcery/
It runs great and is a nice, relaxing experience to play on the couch or the bus or wherever you kids use your consoles these days!
Thank you so much for the support and feedback so far! Your Reviews have been nothing short of heartwarming and awesome! We are planning a very small patch to fix some text errors in a few days and I can confirm we are already working on the localization of the game in AT LEAST two more languages!
So stay tuned for that!
What are you waiting for? Grab your Decks and go play some Bn'B!
Cheers!

We are proud to announce the release of Basements n' Basilisks! If you've ever played a tabletop RPG you know how it feels to sit around a table, imagine fantastical worlds and mysterious creatures. Most of the time... Usually you steal from the merchants, fail at performing the simplest of tasks, prioritize violence over negotiations and potentially getting into an argument with God themselves. Because in reality that's what TTRPGs are about. Having fun and trying weird things with your friends! And that's what Bn'B is also about! [previewyoutube=1kRaXdGRWik;full][/previewyoutube] Make your choices, roll the dice and remember how it felt the first time you sat around a table with your friends to explore a new magical realm. From the bottom of our hearts we hope you enjoy our game. We can't wait to hear what you think! ~eNVy softworks P.S. If you've got a Steam Deck make sure to try the game out there. It runs great and it's a pretty comfortable play!

It’s a visual novel, but not exactly a visual novel. It’s also an RPG, but not really? It certainly is ✨something✨.
Here’s a word from our Basement Master™:
Let me set some things straight first, kiddo. This party has been active in Basementeering™ since 2017. Since then we’ve played like, what, 3 campaigns? We were busy, alright? And, most importantly, the BM™’s job is very demanding. My campaigns are top-notch, the best, chef’s kiss! I would say they’re worth all their... erhm... whatever this costs in your local currency right now (for legal reasons we cannot disclose specific amounts). Maybe even more, but I consider myself rather humble and I don’t wanna get greedy, it’s your first time playing with the party.
You find yourself at a tavern in Kaltrion™. The lights are non-existent, there’s no electricity, welcome to the Middle Ages. Some twenty torches light up the room. Your eyes adjust and you find a piece of paper on the wooden table. You pick it up thinking it’s a menu. You’re wrong. Here are the features of the game:
Rolled any sixes yet?
What do you think you’re doing? Attempting a move without consulting with the BM™ first? Thinking you’re gonna rip a goblin’s head off with your bare hands? Roll the dice, kid. Would you look at that, turns out the goblin’s a buff lil fella, you better run for your life.Pavel wants to hug some trees, are you down?
Your parents never asked you if you wanted to be born, but since you’re here, you can finally take part in important decision making! Your opinion may come in handy during oddly specific, scripted, fictional scenarios where you’ll be asked to resolve conflict. For instance, do you think the party should talk to a random massive tree or would you be better off committing arson?Elana and PC sitting in a tree, P-L-A-Y-I-N-G Bn’B™
This campaign might be short, but you can still form long-lasting relationships (with fictional AI-controlled players that do not exist outside your computer, which sounds weirdly similar to your partner). Side with Elana and cast protection spells together (this is your Sabrina moment) or take Galskap’s side and set the whole world ablaze (this is your Pyro moment).Get in, loser, we’re going to Kaltrion™
Kaltrion™ is like that place you never went to for your annual family vacation- AKA Nashville (good for you, though, it’s literally in the top 10 worst places for family vacation, look it up). Wait, I mean it’s a great place to visit with a Bn’B™ party, just not with your parents, maybe it’s too NSFW for them, unless you got cool parents, which you don’t cause why are you considering playing Bn’B™, then? Explore the myriads of filthy swamps, the thousands of crystal clear lakes, the hundreds of picturesque hills and one cave.- OS: 64-bit OS
