An atmospheric 2.5D RPG that follows Thallia, a 15-year old girl from a formerly prosperous family, having her world upended when her father sells her off to the Labour Force for a few measly coins. Canonically, Betrayal of Blood is set some 300 years prior to the events of Trials of the Romer and Lord of Midchester, when slavery and rigid class systems still dominate the upper portions of Midland. Trials of the Romer is A 2.5D atmospheric survival RPG with active-time battles in which you play as a Nomad of the wasteland. After he saves a city-dweller, he begins to question everything he once believed. There is no easy path here, only a brutal landscape that only the strongest can survive. Set immediately after the events of Lord of Midchester, this new title presents us with new pieces in the mystery that is the World of Taharen.
What's next for Midland and Taharen?
Our next project explores the 'Great and Glorious' city of Victorium's exploitation of the lower classes in the build-up to the Peasant's Revolution. Told through the eyes of Thallia, a 15-year old girl sold into an indenture contract by her good-for-nothing father. Will Thallia manage to attain her freedom?

Just ironing out the last few kinks, and my, what a journey this project has been. It's been quite some time since I've actually had the creative spark coupled with the determination to actually finish off a project, and I'm so happy to finally be able to share this with you all. A massive thank you to those who have wishlisted and followed the project thus far! The scope of the game, as is often the case, has increased considerably since I undertook development of this project.
