Hey everyone! Just want to let you know that you can now select to play the game in Simplified Chinese during the age check screen. Do note that the translation components did require me to dip into some of the core code. This means there "may" be some bugs, or issues that arise. Heyo everyone! I have not given an update on Steam for a while, but I would like to announce that for the last year we have been working away on our new project: Starbreed. Try the Demo on Steam! or Try the demo on Itch.io (browser demo available here as well!) Starbreed is a 3D Rail Shooter where you can unlock new allies to assist you. Each ally brings unique abilities to the table along with their own Hscenes! It is a bit of a departure from our rhythm game roots, but Starbreed maintains the same artist and animation style as SpunkStock. If you enjoyed the Hscenes in SpunkStock, you will likely find Starbreed's Hscenes to be up your alley! At the moment there are a few limitations due to it being early in development: Namely Gamepad/Steam Deck support, but that will come in time. Hey everyone! Stopping by to say I've just integrated Steam Achievements. I wouldn't mind going over what has been going on at our end for anyone who is curious where we are going next! Let's get right in to it: I'll start by touching base on the Steam achievements: This is my first time working with achievements, so if there are any bugs to come from this, please share it in the Community Hub, or drop by our Discord. At the moment there are 23 achievements, and most of these will do a check whenever a scene loads. Most of these achievements will work retroactively, meaning if you have achieved it previously, you should unlock them as soon as you load in to the Campsite. There are a few exceptions to this, as some stats were never tracked before. Completing the gauntlet, getting S in the gauntlet, and SS in the gauntlet are newly tracked. This means if you have achieved these before, you will unfortunately have to do it again in order to unlock the achievement (Sorry! I know these are likely the most difficult ones). These will be directly unlocked from the Gauntlet Score Screen upon achievement. Good Luck everyone! Next: I suppose I will go in to the addressed bug fixes. They are nothing huge, but I tagged some off while I was putting in the achievements. ------------------------------- - "Restore Session" in the Load screen is now renamed to "Load Auto-Save" for clarity's sake. - UI layering in Yu/Mei, and Samga2 have been adjusted so that "Darkening Screen" will not cover essential UI components. - Fixed some spelling errors. - Co-Headliners will no longer sometimes flag as "Completed" despite not actually succeeding in their song. - S/SS coins did not include Secret during tallying. S/SS coins should now reach up to 19 coins properly. - Samga2's "Preg" icon should now appear in the menu upon completing her. ----------------------------- That should cover everything new with this build, but for anyone curious, I will touch base on what our team's plans are moving forward: For the time being there is no further content planned for SpunkStock. The initial Steam release was the full game (v1.0). This doesn't necessarily mean we will never return to it, but we are currently moving on to a new project. The project hasn't really been fully publicly announced, but it has been in development since January. I will be sure to post news on it here, when the time comes!
