Long overdue patches for performance and stability. Also initial work towards a Linux version but still not working quite right on Steam.

Looking forward, we're putting together our first patch now. At this time, we're looking to make some tweaks to the procedural generation and level management mechanics, as well as some improvements to the ship mechanics. These initiatives should improve gameplay, as well as getting us ready for our first content update. Also, time is running out to get Jormungandr for 20% off. The discount only applies to the first week of release, so it'll end July 2nd.

While Jormungandr was originally targeted for release on 6/28 at $6.99 USD, we're going to take a little off the top. Our new release date is 6/25, and the price has been dropped to $4.99 USD. We think this is a fair price, since the game has been trimmed down to 20 levels with plans for a content patch if theres enough interest. Enjoy the lower price, and follow us here on Steam to grab a copy on the 25th!

It's been a while, but there's been a ton of work done to button up Jormungandr for release, like a new title screen, and more importantly, support for Steam Cloud Saves, so your progress will be saved to the cloud. While our original release date was 6/28, we're trying to target an earlier release in the coming week (give or take) There's so much more to share, but we're just not ready yet. Follow Jormungandr to stay in the loop.

These past few weeks have seen a lot of under the hood work done to clean up the code. Theres still more to do, but Jormungandr is in a much better state now, and the next major tasks are around the level and progress systems. Once this progress system work is complete, it should be relatively unchanging going forward, which lowers the changes an update will wipe out your progress while Jormungandr is in early access. Stay tuned for future updates as we get closer to launch.

Jormungandr is targeted for a late June release, but what do you all think about Early Access? Love it? Hate it? Let us know in this straw poll

- Jormungandr Linux [236.64 M]
- 40 levels gives you an easy introduction but ramps up in difficulty fast.
- Multiple ship types. The bigger the ship, the more damage they do.
- Rechargeable boost to give you that quick burst of speed when you need it most.
- Procedurally generated worlds that get bigger with each new level.
