this visual novel will be unpublished in the next 1-2 days.

Some background info: we had an idea to make a series of funny visual novels with simple joke-like minigames in adult setting. This first app had the goal to gouge interest and test the validity of the idea.

It failed.

First, short one-offs like this don't feel like anything valuable. And it's not easy to write a long funny VN, nor probably anyone would want to read a long funny story anyway. Unless it's like a TV series with bite-size episodes. But it's unclear how Steam release system would work with that.

Second, there is no monetization model. A humor-toned game isn't serious enough to feel like a worthy purchase. Even if it had better graphics. Comic strips on the web monetize on ads. But most ads can't be shown in porn, plus ads are generally not allowed in Steam games.

Third, we don't feel we can predict possible player reactions to the humor, also in the future as such games remain published on Steam.

This clarity was totally worth the expense. It's normal to scrap stuff that doesn't work. We saved a lot by not making more of it. And we will feel at peace when this first trial product is removed from the store.

If you already have the game in your library, you will keep it forever.
