Hey there Steam Community, Im Axel-Guillaume from OG-ZONE and West Dragon Productions. I didnt realize Snow Lights community hub was still active. We made a summary of our new objectives for our official comeback last year right here. I didnt take the time to address the Steam Community directly so now might be a good time. First a little recap of the events that happened here: - Snow Light Bad English Due to poor translation and proofreading skills at the release, SLs dialogues were unreadable and provided a bad VN experience. - Snow Light Language Update With the translation issues, a collaboration with a native English translator was made to correct the scripts (at no cost since we didnt have the means for it at the time). After several reminders we lost contact with the translator and thus the correction and Language Update were never delivered. - The Pricegate In spring 2015, SLs price jumped from $9.99 to $99.99, and it wasnt an error. ome of you thought it was because I favored the indie-friendly platform itch, which again, OG-ZONE does not own. As detailed here, it was only because a 23,50 fee was charged for any wire transfer we received from Steam, whatever the amount (usually way under the fee). At the time, I found a solution by removing my banking information. Now Steam has a minimum amount to set before sending money. So finally, what will happen? First of all, we improved communication. OG-ZONE doesnt have a dedicated person for it currently, but there is a better organization for communication now. Concerning the Language Update, it is kind of planned. We have a new version of the 1st Snow Light in progress, rewritten and with new graphics. But since were currently rebooting the main series that SL is the spinoff of, it makes more sense to work on the reboot first. We will announce the new Snow Light when the time is right. The buyers of the first version will obviously get some form of a discount. Concerning language and overall quality, my West Dragon Productions always delivered the best quality it was able to reach at that time. Unfortunately for Snow Light and our other productions it didnt fit public expectations, and I am sorry about that. Though WDPs and OG-ZONE are in a constant search of improvement, you can witness the evolution of our work since 2009. For the translation side, it is one of our main concerns and we're taking it more seriously than before. It does not mean errors wont be made, but we will be, at least, more reactive to it. Also, I saw that some of you were requesting sales for Snow Light. There will be no sales on this version of the visual novel since I do not recommend buying it or downloading it for free as is. Best, AxelG

A lot of you have some problem with the actual english translation of Snow Light. We heard it, and the team is actually working to correct the issue and improve the story experience. A patch will be published as soon as possible, stay tunned. Sincere Apologize, West Dragon Productions Dev Team
