Its been exactly a year since "The Missing Parts of Maria Gwozdek" released on Steam, and over 5,000 people have played it since then. As you might guess, Maria herself is not a huge fan of birthdays, but this occasion feels meaningful to me and I want to use it to thank everyone who has played the game. I am grateful beyond words to all the people who have reviewed the game on Steam, streamed it, and/or shared it on social media or elsewhere. I also wanted to let you know about what the future holds. I dont currently plan to add more endings or updates: the branching story feels complete to me as it is. I would like, eventually, to create a different story set in the same universe. This new story would explore what other fairies exist out there and what kind of things they get up to. Ill keep everyone posted when I have more to share on that project. A few of you have asked about localization. I am open to localizing The Missing Parts of Maria Gwozdek into other languages. That said, I don't have the capacity (linguistically and physically) to do this alone. Hi everyone! I'm happy to announce the game's first update. As you may know, the original Steam release had four "regular" endings and an additional secret one. Since then, several people have suggested the game should have an additional ending and they had a point! So now the game has a sixth ending and an achievement to go with it. In case you're reading this without having played the game, I'm not going to spoil what the extra ending is (also: please go play the game!). If you have already played, you'll understand when I say the ending involves a life-changing decision Maria makes early in the story. (Are you a completionist? See about getting that new achievement!) The update also contains several minor language edits, kindly suggested by Xolf. Thanks for your interest in the game! Best, Mikhail
