Stratoskirmish is an action-combat vertical scroll shooting game. The game aims to be a polished arcade-action experience with unique appealing visuals with historical fiction themes.
In this game the player controls a fighterplane and must fight against enemy ground forces. The player can strategically deploy a small fleet of mini-aircraft to provide additional firepower and protection.

Beta Demo 1.22 update change notes
Some small changes made to the Beta Demo in response to feedback received during Nextfest Feb 2024.
- set the default demo difficulty from 'Beginner' to 'Casual' for an easier time for inexperienced players
- in 'Casual' difficulty, enemy bullets now move notably slower
- in 'Casual' difficulty, players now have +1 hitpoint before death
- Main menu now includes a brief text tutorial explaining basic controls
- Made enemy bullets on any difficulty very slightly slower
