Just a quick patch to the 1.3 update as well as a few features that just missed the deadline. Map Editor
- Only the host needs a map downloaded to play now
- Torch, egg gun, throwable spiders, and the cannon are all now placeable in the map editor
- New "random" item can be placed which will spawn in random items
- Moving platforms in editor now have proper collision
- Issue regarding some players crashing on story mode/matchmaking menus should now be fixed
- The credits should no longer repeat the song after it ends
- Bots have been slightly tuned down (it was bugged prior)
- Hud not appearing on some maps has been fixed
- Steps towards reducing lag in levels 3 and 4 have been made
- Fixed issue regarding music at the end of a match glitching out

Changes, Feedback, and other stuff I guess
There has been a lot of feedback and suggestions recently, and we thank all of you for the large community activity that has been taking place. I hope you enjoy this new great update!
New Editor Feature
Click ESC or start in the editor to pull up the pause menu to try out the new "playtest" feature. You can now play your maps solo without needing to go to the main menu.
Bugs
We did it again, its almost tradition at this point. It seems we are always leaving some sort of debug option in by accident right before our big update, yet this time, it was a major issue. Everything should be back to normal now.
Skins in Story Mode and Controls (again)
We didn't reach our deadline for these last week promised features, and we are sorry. Their implementation is a bit more work than a weeks worth of time lets us do, but we will try our best to get these features in as soon as possibile.
Overall Thoughts
Although we wish we could continue weekly updates, we also want to start working on new projects. We are not abandoning this game as there is quite a bit of content left that we have to give, just don't expect that next week.

Changes, Feedback, and other stuff I guess
We are getting close to 2,000 players, we can't believe that our community is still growing at such a fast rate and thank everyone for their support! We're here ready to give another great update.
Controls
Something that couple people have brought up are controls, not everyone is happy with them. We are working on a solution, whether it is a selection of preset or customizable key-binds, we will make sure that it will satisfy players. We are looking to roll out this feature around next update.
Skins in Story Mode
A complaint we have heard from some people regarding some of our paid bundles is that they are unusable in story mode. Our biggest problem with skins in story mode is their implementation, but there is a solution in the works and will probably be here by next update.
Overall Thoughts
The future of this game is looking great, and we are working on more and more updates. Next week, we hope to accomplish:

Changes, Feedback, and other stuff I guess
We would like to thank everyone who has played and enjoyed the game so far as we reach 1000 players, the support has been amazing! Yet, there has been complaints, and we want to address them.
The Bull Fight
An early stopping point for most players, the bull was quite a challenge. Our playtests had players struggle but determined to beat it, but we now see when brought to a larger audience that not everyone is as determined. Making changes was difficult as many players enjoyed the challenge, but the larger player base did not. For this reason, most of the changes done to this boss will only effect "normal mode" and "timed mode", but "hard mode" will be mostly the same. These changes include
- Health: 4 -> 3
- Spawned wave attacks in normal mode: 6 -> 2
- Spawned wave attacks in hard mode: 4 -> 2
- The bull will no longer turn around after jumping over him
Bugs
This is something that a lot of players were not happy with, and we never intended this. We had limited resources while developing, especially when it came to play testing. Although this shouldn't be an excuse for bugs appearing for many players, it's what happened, and we're sorry. We will continue to patch out many of the issues players have been encountering as we have been doing already, and if you do encounter any bug/issue, please report it in our server: https://discord.gg/xgDZKesnJC.
Settings
Yes, they are broken, and yes, we are working on it. The issues present did not appear in debug builds and are a problem related to the game engine. We will fix this, but as for now, there are still some issues with settings.
Overall Thoughts
We hope to keep giving more great updates, as we are not done with Chicken Fight any time soon. We want to keep giving players a reason to come back, and hopefully we can accomplish that with weekly updates and challenges. Next week, we hope to accomplish:
- More new maps
- Another new item
- More secrets
- More sounds
- More new achievements
