Tricking 0 is still in development. This Alpha version will help me gather your feedbacks so feel free to join our Discord Server and send me your questions, impressions and ideas. This also mean that the are frequent updates with the addition of new tricks and animations, new gamemodes and features, and I try to be as much reactive as possible on discord and to the needs of the community. Hey everyone Its been a while since the last major update, and I want to thank you for your patience. Over the past few months, Ive been working on some really ambitious systems and features, and I major reworks on two maps. A lot of this has been tested on experimental branches with your help, and now its time to roll it all into a proper update.

Welcome to the Paid Early Access!
Going Paid: A New Chapter
Since its launch, Tricking 0 has been available for free in Early Access as I worked on it as a solo developer in my free time. For the past year, I\'ve been working on the game full-time, which has allowed for significant progress and a ton of new content.
This transition to a paid Early Access at a price of $15 is the next step in the game\'s evolution. It will allow me to build a sustainable studio, potentially hire a small team, and continue development to finish the game. The price of the base game (the sandbox) should gradually increase towards $25-$30 for the full release as new features and content are added.
Existing players who got the game for free will keep their copies and will not be charged. In the future, I plan to release cosmetic and career DLCs. This will give players who have enjoyed the free version a way to financially support the game\'s development without taking anything away from them.
For new players, a free demo is now available. This demo is time-limited to 8 hours of playtime, giving you plenty of time to test the game and ensure it runs well on your hardware before you decide to purchase.

The ragdoll and physics have been heavily revised to make the character feel more alive and realistic.
The CatTwist feature has been added to the Freefall mode. Hold D-pad left or right while in Freefall to trigger procedural twisting.

Hey, this Update started with a rework of the map Playa Escondida, but I ended up solving the stairs problem, so here is the full patch note :

Hey everyone, Its time for an update. This one is huge, introduction the hooked map, and a lot of new tricks and variations.
Its a huge update because I changed the way we play the game for kicks and variations. There is not need to hold any button during the transitions now, so the games flows much better.
If you found the game hard I encourage you to give it another shot. And I also recommend for everyone to redo at least the Variations Tutorial to understand how its done now.

This update includes a few global game quality improvements and fixes, especially a rework of the climb up animations integration, here are the changes in detail :
- Fixed a camera issue when running forward, that was very unpleasant, and it looked that the character was not running at a constant speed
- Tweaked the running animations so that the shoulders are lower, the guy looked so stiff before
- Fixed / reworked the transition from ragdoll in the water to swimming
- Reworked the climb up parkour system, so it should feel much better now and more accurate
- Fixed a glitch when climbing up low, (jumping on a small ledge while running), that sometimes triggered the high fall and the roll when landing on the ledge
- Fixed the flipping onto things glitch, so now you should just radgoll in and fall if you land and your trick is not over
- Tweaked a bit the Arena map
- Fixed the xray broken bone not resetting on going to marker

This update will allow you to train your cliff-jumping skills and discover a new air drag mechanic while jumping off a hot air balloon in Polynesia, it also includes a lot of fixes to increase smoothness
It includes the following things :
- Disabling of self body collisions to improve ragdoll stability and physics accuracy
- Fix on Camera tracking glitch
- Improvement on Camera reset when player position isn't continuous, spawn, teleportation, replay
- New air drag realistic implementation for skydiving
- New air drag non realistic implementation to practice cliff jumping while keeping fall speed in a range that's manageable for the engine
- New map : Air Balloon
- New trick : Triple Full landing complete to swing out of it
- Fix on a glitch that launched the character in the air when automatically transition to ragdoll after over-rotating a trick
- Improved shore waves on Playa Escondida
This update is motivated by a Unity upgrade, It may have positive consequences on the performances, and fixes the crashes on loading a scene that some of you had.
In addition to that it contains the following things :
- Entire rework and optimization of the loading of the maps to shorten the waiting time and smooth out the experience
- Fixed ragdoll behavior of kicking the legs randomly when tucked
- Improved splash effect depending on water penetration
- Wetsuit clothing gear for the male character
- Tweak on trampoline horizontal velocity of jumps
- Addition of motion blur for high and ultra, a dedicated toggle will come in the settings in the future

Just a little update with a few bug fixes, a rework of the tucking system, a few new tricks and some polish on the maps
Here is the detail :
- Fix a bug where the character tried to jump on slanted ground and fell
- Fixed the grabbing system
- Added some concrete blocks with a custom shader displaying the height of the cliffs
- Added a secret teleporter
- Improved back flexibility of the character on ragdoll mode
- Reworked the cliffs on the Playa Escondida map to make it more interesting

To celebrate the cliff jumping season, I designed a new map with a 50m deep Cenote

- Camera rework (The camera movement was stuttering when the framerate was not stable, I entirely reworked it to make it smoother)
- Allowed the played to immediately retry an input after failing one in the tutorial
- Fixed the invisible Teleporters on the Arena map
- Reworked the bubbles particle system on entering in the water

Rebuilt to fix the invisible character on Linux and Steamdeck after the previous update
This update includes the Temple map, the new vault and wallflips mechanics, an update of the Arena with a trampoline and a lot of bug fixes :
Fixed one cause of the invisible character problem some people had due to their region settings
Fixed the stuck in a trick that could happen in the tutorial
Fixed the invisible target marker in the tutorial
Fixed the problem where the player couldnt get up in shallow water
Fixed the physics of the jumps from very high positions
Put the Restart button to the bottom of the pause menu to avoid miss-clicking when trying to replay
Added a few overall gameplay quality patches to remove some frustration

Hey, finally, the update is live, it was so much work, of course the game is far from finished but I hope you will enjoy it
This update is massive, it introduces a new map, an new render pipeline, new features like the direction of the tricks and the active ragdoll, and a brand new tutorial system, a lot a effects on the ground surfaces, a trampoline and an air track, I couldnt enumerate all of the changes because I would spend the night doing so
I did my best but naturally the game now requires more form your hardware. Also there must be a lot of small bugs left, please dont be mad, Im still a solo dev working on this in my free time. Please report the bugs on discord and Ill try to fix them in the following days
Quick Hotfixes after the big update includes fixes on the tutorial, and on a roll / flip conflict on landing
The Free Running update is live on Steam. Its a huge step for the game and Im so happy to share the intense work I did for the last few months!!
Apart from the jump height variations, the vertical locomotion and the possibility to run into some flips, I had rework some big parts of the game.
The biggest one being the Replay System :
I developed a brand new replay system that will always replay your actions as you did them, the ragdoll will always fall the same way. You can set the loop brackets and adjust the speed with the triggers or the mouse (first bracket is by default set to your last Set or Teleportation to the marker). You can also hide the UI to record pure beauty, using the left joystick click. You can zoom in and out using the left joystick or the W and S keys). I let you have fun with it !!
I also introduced a Session Marker :
Marker inspired by skate, you can set it using the arrow down of your controller or the M key on your keyboard, and teleport to your marker to retry your line using the arrow up on your keyboard or the G key on your keyboard.
I added a Multidirectional Rolling System :
Depending on your height and speed direction you will roll in a specific way.
