This update is motivated by a Unity upgrade, It may have positive consequences on the performances, and fixes the crashes on loading a scene that some of you had. In addition to that it contains the following things : - Entire rework and optimization of the loading of the maps to shorten the waiting time and smooth out the experience - Fixed ragdoll behavior of kicking the legs randomly when tucked - Improved splash effect depending on water penetration - Wetsuit clothing gear for the male character - Tweak on trampoline horizontal velocity of jumps - Addition of motion blur for high and ultra, a dedicated toggle will come in the settings in the future - Fix ui bugs in the settings - Fix vaults issues on the arena blocs - Fix unexpected camera traveling when enteringreplaymode - Alternative Input system for Free fall mode available in the settings
Just a little update with a few bug fixes, a rework of the tucking system, a few new tricks and some polish on the maps Here is the detail :
- Fix a bug where the character tried to jump on slanted ground and fell
- Fixed the grabbing system
- Added some concrete blocks with a custom shader displaying the height of the cliffs
- Added a secret teleporter
- Improved back flexibility of the character on ragdoll mode
- Reworked the cliffs on the Playa Escondida map to make it more interesting
- New tricks : Double cork semi, Triple Cork Semi, rockscrew and sideswipe semi
To celebrate the cliff jumping season, I designed a new map with a 50m deep Cenote I also did a few bug fixes and adjustments :
- Camera rework (The camera movement was stuttering when the framerate was not stable, I entirely reworked it to make it smoother)
- Allowed the played to immediately retry an input after failing one in the tutorial
- Fixed the invisible Teleporters on the Arena map
- Reworked the bubbles particle system on entering in the water
Rebuilt to fix the invisible character on Linux and Steamdeck after the previous update
This update includes the Temple map, the new vault and wallflips mechanics, an update of the Arena with a trampoline and a lot of bug fixes : Fixed one cause of the invisible character problem some people had due to their region settings Fixed the stuck in a trick that could happen in the tutorial Fixed the invisible target marker in the tutorial Fixed the problem where the player couldnt get up in shallow water Fixed the physics of the jumps from very high positions Put the Restart button to the bottom of the pause menu to avoid miss-clicking when trying to replay Added a few overall gameplay quality patches to remove some frustration

Hey, finally, the update is live, it was so much work, of course the game is far from finished but I hope you will enjoy it This update is massive, it introduces a new map, an new render pipeline, new features like the direction of the tricks and the active ragdoll, and a brand new tutorial system, a lot a effects on the ground surfaces, a trampoline and an air track, I couldnt enumerate all of the changes because I would spend the night doing so I did my best but naturally the game now requires more form your hardware. Also there must be a lot of small bugs left, please dont be mad, Im still a solo dev working on this in my free time. Please report the bugs on discord and Ill try to fix them in the following days
Quick Hotfixes after the big update includes fixes on the tutorial, and on a roll / flip conflict on landing
The Free Running update is live on Steam. Its a huge step for the game and Im so happy to share the intense work I did for the last few months!! Apart from the jump height variations, the vertical locomotion and the possibility to run into some flips, I had rework some big parts of the game. The biggest one being the Replay System : I developed a brand new replay system that will always replay your actions as you did them, the ragdoll will always fall the same way. You can set the loop brackets and adjust the speed with the triggers or the mouse (first bracket is by default set to your last Set or Teleportation to the marker). You can also hide the UI to record pure beauty, using the left joystick click. You can zoom in and out using the left joystick or the W and S keys). I let you have fun with it !! I also introduced a Session Marker : Marker inspired by skate, you can set it using the arrow down of your controller or the M key on your keyboard, and teleport to your marker to retry your line using the arrow up on your keyboard or the G key on your keyboard. I added a Multidirectional Rolling System : Depending on your height and speed direction you will roll in a specific way. Enjoy
