Achievments & Winter Sale!

We've got a fresh new update on Monos!
The update brings:
- 25 Achievements!
- Bug fixes for controller/steam deck players
- Now if you start a wave without anything built, a pop-up will appear to confirm.

Version 1.3 Patch Notes

Hello everyone,
We have some exciting news for you!

Today's patch may be small, but it's packed with significant changes and fixes! We've taken into consideration the feedback regarding the difficulty of the game in the later levels and made some tweaks to give you a more pleasant experience.
We've also started testing the Controller support and Achievements and those will be available in a future update.
Stay tuned for more info!

- Fixed multiple clipping and graphical issues
- Tweaked the price cost for some upgrades
- Reworked how we handle the drop rate of coins in the later levels

Hello everyone,

Based on player reports, today's update for Monos: The Endless Tower contains various improvements and bug fixes.

Patch Notes:

- Fixed an issue where sometimes the enemies will remain stuck at 0 health
- Fixed an issue where weapons will not be attached to their respective tower segment after a load into the game
- Reworked the way we handle the Tutorial level after the first time you start a new game
- Small improvements to some textures and materials

Day One Patch Notes

Hello everyone,

Now that Monos: The Endless Tower has officially launched, we want to ensure that your gaming experience is nothing short of extraordinary.
That's why we strongly recommend applying the Day 1 patch.

Most notable fixes are:

- Fixed a bug where the player would sometimes lose the ability to see enemies through towers
- Fixed a rare case where sometimes the attack SFX is not played
- Fixed a bug where pressing the ESC key while in the settings menu would redirect directly to the game
- Fixed a bug that could lead to some missing paths in the Underground Tier
- Fixed a rare case where sometimes the old tower segment doesn't disappear

Demo for Strategy Fest on 28th!

Hello,

On 28th August a new demo will appear!
With the occasion of Steam Strategy Fest we will launch a new version of our demo, that has been in work since March of this year.


[h3]What will be new[/h3]


  • Improved Tutorial
  • Upgrades Menu
  • New UI
  • Tutorial pop-ups
  • New towers and powers
  • Around 30 minutes of gameplay
  • A new zone, that will be playable for the first time

New Visuals!

Hello,

In February we participated with a demo at Steam Next Fest, where we received a lot of feedback for Monos.
We took that feedback into consideration and improved many parts of the game.
Graphics have change the most, but pictures can show better than words, so take a look below.

These images show changes that can be seen. However expected many more features that we had in the demo to work better in the full release, because we want to make a fun game.

The bad news
We decided to take the demo down since it's outdated.
We want to focus on the release of the game in a good quality and we don't have time to improve the demo too.

The good news
We're planning a Beta for the game.
It will be available in july.
Access to the build will be shared on discord server: https://discord.gg/JCSu2yr via steam keys.

Patch #2 for Demo!

Hello,

Below you will find a short list of the things we've added and changed since the last time you played the demo.

  • The game will restart after the tutorial.
  • Crystal at the top has flashing VFX when it takes damage
  • Updated description of movement tutorial
  • Added key icons to the movement tutorial


[h3]Balance and Quality of Life Improvements[/h3]

  • Revamped a tower segment
  • Tweaked health of boss from wave 18


[h3]Fixes[/h3]

  • The player could press Q in the pause menu
  • The third tower segment appears in the same position as the second one
  • The weapon selection wheel gets disabled when clicking on the crystal tutorial
  • The player could remain stuck for some time on Play Mode tutorial
  • Zap power could be used in-between waves if you avoid expanding once

Demo for Steam Next Fest!

We're ready to unveil the steam next fest demo!
Last week we released a sneaky build to test and gather a bit of feedback to be better prepared for Steam Next Fest.

Below you will find a short list of the things we've added and changed since the last time you played the game.

  • 10 New waves
  • Tower Expansion feature is now available
  • A new Special power: Explosion
  • Added the option to adjust the Game Volume
  • Added the option to adjust the Graphic Quality of the game
  • Added the option to adjust the Resolution of the game
  • Added ''Exit'' button after finishing the Demo
  • Added Feedback Form to both Pause Menu and ''Demo end'' pop up


[h3]Balance and Quality of Life Improvements[/h3]

  • Multiple tweaks related to the difficulty of the game
  • Tweaks to weapon's slots placement
  • Tweaks to Tutorial Cards description and order
  • Enemies from the Tutorial cards now have the correct name
  • Changed the crystal weapon's icon
  • Added coin icon in weapon selection wheel
  • Multiple tweaks related to UI and Game textures and materials
  • Improvements to the overall Global Illumination
  • Boss from Wave 9 has a new skin now
  • The Special power buttons are invisible until the user unlocks them
  • The game will no longer use the system language
  • Vsync is now added by default

  • Fixed multiple clipping issues
  • Fixed an rare issue where users would be able to move around the tower without holding Left Click
  • Fixed an issue where the settings for Quality and Resolution would not be saved after a restart
  • Fixed an issue where the players who are using a controller would not be able to select the first weapon slot in some specific cases
  • Fixed an issue where the players would be able to see under the fog under specific scenarios
  • Fixed a rare issue where the Zap button would dissapear in some specific waves
  • Multiple issues that were present when playing with a controller are now fixed


Please keep in mind this product is still in work and the demo will get updates in the future, and we haven't covered everything that we wanted in time, but we did our best for Steam Next Fest!
