Cavimilation v171 released

  • Weizen beer improvements: Now you won't lose weizen durability if you collect medkit but you're almost at your max health so double medkit would not benefit you. Weizen shop description has also been modified to clarify that weizen does not work on potions.
  • Ore vacuum cleaner improvements: If the player were to use the ore vacuum in certain pixel perfect places, the vacuum cleaner didn't "mine" the ores it should have mined or it mined them twice as fast. This has been fixed, ore vacuum is now smoother than ever. It also renders correctly behind the minecart now.
  • By pressing Enter in the leaderboards menu, in-game overlay browser will open with the Steam leaderboards website. Leaderboards menu header has also been added.
  • Fixed a bug where you could grapnel yourself out of the minecart and potentially softlock your run.

    • Cavimilation is a 2D shooter/platformer throwback to classic high score chasing games with the addition of modern roguelike elements. Explore an endless procedurally generated cave filled with treasure and monsters, where every mistake takes its toll and where every bullet counts.

    • Fair randomness – Every level in a run is randomly generated. Systemic rules will assure that your success won't be in the hands of RNG.
    • Clean visuals – No visual clutter. Cavimilation features readable programmer/naïve art audiovisuals.
    • Collect and spend treasure – Caves are filled with treasure. Collect it to increase your score and use it as currency in shops for weapon upgrades and power-ups.
    • Outsmart your enemies – Enemies in Cavimilation may hit hard but they are not undefeatable. Learn their weaknesses, master your positioning, and give 'em hell.
    • Shape the environment – Use grenades you've found or your handy pickaxe to destroy the environment to your advantage.
    • Achievements and leaderboards – Compare scores with your friends through Steam leaderboards.
