Welcome to our first update since launch! Today, we're introducing some new features, improvements, and a couple tweaks.
First off, you should notice vast improvements in the quality of the AI responses! Training a humorous large language model has been an exciting adventure, and we'll keep iterating on this as AI technology develops!
Second, you'll notice a new option in the game controller which allows up to 50 people to join a game as audience members. Audience members can add a few points to their favorite responses during each voting round to give a players an edge over their competition. This is a great way to involve more people in a single game, whether you're having a party or on a streaming platform. This feature is marked as a beta for now while we feel out the server load that comes with it!
Third, we've upgraded the text-to-speech readouts that occur during the voting round to sound more lifelike.
Finally, we've made some tweaks to sound effect mixing as well to make the game a smoother experience. A longer soundtrack is also in the works.
Enjoy!
Are you tired of artificial intelligence being useful to society? So are we, which is why we searched the corners of the internet for all the humor we could find and used it to create an AI. It doesn't come with a whitepaper, it wasn't built by scientists, and it certainly doesn't benefit society. It is however, hilarious.
That's right, we trained an AI to be funny and made it into a party game.
Turing Quest pits you and your friends against our humorous AI to write jokes. Players will vote on if your joke or an AI generated response was better. It's a chaotic, edgy, and hilarious experience for up to 6 players.
How It Works
Start the game and display on a TV, a large monitor, or screen share for remote play with Discord / Zoom / Steam Broadcast or similar service.
Players connect to the game on their phone's web browser.
Each player constructs a question which someone else will have to answer.
Everyone writes funny answers to each other's questions.
Answers are mixed with AI responses.
Players all vote on who's answer is funniest, the human player's or AI's.
