Ranked Mode 2.0 is here!

Welcome to Worms W.M.D’s new Ranked Mode update, where players can rise up the ranks by winning games. Not only that but you'll also earn points as you win and unlock brand new rewards along the way. Features

• Skill Based Matchmaking: Players will be matched against opponents of equal rank where possible.
• ELO Based Points System: More points are awarded for beating a player of a higher rank and less points are awarded for beating a player of a lower rank.
• Rewards: Each rank tier and bracket have their own rewards. Once you have earned a reward it can’t be lost, even if you drop ranks!

So keep an eye out for new hats, animated Team HP bars, Team name backgrounds and more... Oh and if you were Ranked #1 in the world, we'll have something special coming for you. How does progression work? There are ten rank tiers to rise through within 4 brackets (Bronze, Silver, Gold and Master). Once a bracket is reached players cannot drop back down to a previous bracket. Bonus points are awarded for winning your first ranked game each day, and for gaining a winning streak of three wins. (The win streak bonus will be held as long as you keep winning games!) tl:dr - First win of the day bonus, 3 wins in a row bonus. Getting stuck in! Ranked games can be played from the Multiplayer Menu by selecting ‘Ranked 1 vs 1’. Clicking on ‘Your Rank’ allows you to preview and set rewards, view the ranked leaderboards, and check out the infographic showing progression. Once Armageddon rank is reached, your worldwide position within that tier is shown, so that you can continue to battle it out among the Elite to be the world’s best Worms W.M.D player! NOTE: Any rewards that were earned from the previous Rank system are yours to keep and will not be removed - Silver Grenade, Golden Bazooka. Bug Fixes

• Fixed an issue which was causing players Rank Points to be reset to zero
• Fixed an issue which prevented camera from locating worm during Teleport In phase
• Fixed an issue whereby the Drone wasn’t being damaged by fire
• Fixed an issue which could alter the players aiming following a jump
• Fixed an issue when timer became low during Teleport In and no warning audio could be heard
• Fixed an issue that was causing the audio of the magnet to be heard in the frontend
• Fixed an issue whereby certain speechbank samples weren’t being triggered correctly
• Fixed an issue which prevented the spray from the Drillboat disappearing when moving onto the land from the water
