New Name, New Trailer, New Languages!

Dear Community,

We want to inform you about some important changes. Our game, previously known as "A Divine Guide to Puzzle Solving," now carries the new title Tobla - Divine Path. The new name is shorter and more concise to put the spotlight on the central figure of the game, the goddess Tobla, and to better convey the game's identity.

New Languages and Localized Voice Over

In addition to this name change, we have translated the game into seven new languages: French, Italian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean. To offer you an even more immersive experience, we have also localized the voice over in German, French, and Japanese. These new voice overs allow you to dive even deeper into the world of Tobla.

New Artwork: Tobla Gets a Face

The artwork has also received an update. Tobla, the goddess who remains invisible in the game, is now prominently featured on the cover art.

We're Part of the Cerebral Puzzle Showcase 2024!

The Cerebral Puzzle Showcase is now live! Running from the 23rd to the 30th of May, this event is a puzzle lover's paradise on Steam. This is our first major event on Steam and we're honored that A Divine Guide To Puzzle Solving is part of this year's selection. You can find the game in the 'Test Chambers' category of the Showcase, alongside some of the genre's greatest games such as Portal and The Talos Principle. Today we would like to share some insights into the launch of A Divine Guide To Puzzle Solving and explain our next steps with the game.

Reviews & Sales

The game has been out for just over a month now. We have received 93 user reviews in the first few weeks, with 95% of them being positive - this leaves us speechless! We would like to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for the great reception of our game. Getting a 'Very Positive' rating so quickly was a special achievement for us. As far as sales go, we have sold almost 800 copies so far. We know these numbers are not much compared to the biggest of the genre out there, but as a small team with no marketing budget and this being our first self-published game, we are still proud of them. In short, it was a solid launch and we are happy with how it went!

What's next?

We've received a lot of feedback about the fact that the game only has two languages (German/English), so that's an area we want to improve next. Our goal is to add more languages so that more people around the world can enjoy our divine puzzle journey. What languages are most important to you in a game?
