My Little World 1.4 Update

A small update has come this week! 1.4 features changes to the visual appearance of the game, bug fixes and more!

Visual Improvements

This update features brighter colours, higher contrast and new textures:

In-game lighting slightly lowered
Higher contrast
Darker and more varied tree colours, making them easier to spot
Textured grass

Here is a quick comparison to an earlier version (1.0)

Bug Fixes

Fixed many bugs appearing in freebuilding mode
Removed some old models
Fixed gates connecting to anything

Loading times should also be faster, there is still space for more improvements in the future updates!

My Little World 1.3 Update - Saving & Loading!

Version 1.3 is here bringing new features to the game!

Saving & Loading!

You progress is now saved whenever you leave the game or return to the main menu! There is also a save button to be sure your progress won't be lost.

Linux & Steamdeck Support!

has been added! In the next few days there should also be mac support and a few new tiles aswell!

Session statistics!

You can now view information about your game, this is an early feature, which will be seen in the future updates aswell.

Many Bug Fixes and Improvements!

Fixed the Explorer achievement
The Multiple Tiles Mode highscore now saves correctly
High scores now have a description
Removed confirmation button when it isn't needed
Highscore now saves when returning to main menu
Fixed the text size of all tiles
Optimized rendering
Tweaked points given by certain tiles (lumberjack, mountains, the church and others)
Gates are now considered walls, this also makes the Protector achievement easier to obtain
Score now shows correctly when losing the game
In Multiple Tiles Mode new tiles are highlighted now until you hover over them
Tweaked some tile rarities around, docks should not be as common

This also means we are a step closer to fully releasing the game!

Next major update will include Challenges - a new way of playing the game with different twists! With them, new achievements and tiles will also be added.

My Little World Hotfix (1.02)

A small update, some value tweaks and bug fixes:

All achievements now show in-game
Achievement counter works now
Multiple tiles mode actually works now
Achievements don't reappear anymore when changing from spectator mode
High score from One Tiles Mode shows the right value
Made One Tile Mode more fun and challenging (now you get fewer tiles more often, smaller bonuses, lower xp requirements)
Music transitions fixed
The game should now start on the "high" quality setting
Made bridges, rivers, some walls less common, gates are more common
Fixed some tiles that had bigger text
Fixed tile disappearing when reverting
Tweaked rarities for tile types
Fixed game icon
