Changes Leaving Early Access as 1.0.0. Notes It's the one year anniversary of the initial (and ROUGH) release on Steam. I want to thank everyone for your love and support during the early stages of development of Space Miner - Idle Adventures. There are certainly plans to do more, but for now I'm releasing this as 1.0.0 and removing from Early Access. As life allows, more content and features will be added. Fixes Fixed calculation precision for offline time over ~2 weeks. Fixed (hopefully) the edge case where players couldn't fly the full extent of the playfield. Changes Changed the In-Game Guide / How to Play, from a long wall of text, to a useable segmented guide. Removed unused area from The Den. Additions At the request of some achievement hunters out there, a purchasable "MiniGame AutoPlayer" that will play Rock-Paper-Scissors for you in the background. Plays once every 10 seconds. The results are output to the main notification bar, and are viewable in the notification history. You can check the Stats page to verify the increases.

Fixes Fixed Reputation reset to remove World Ender asteroid if a new Reputation run is started during a challenge. Fixed Reputation Rebuild button not clickable once Cooldown timer completes while in Reputation menu Changes Changed Mining Boost Power-Up spawning to prevent occurring during World Ender challenge events. Changed to prevent using Mining Boosts from cargo while in a challenge. Changed to prevent activation of Mining Boost Power-Up if starting a challenge just after a power-up has spawned and collecting power-up. NOTE The experimental branch will have the main graphics rendering engine changed to openGL3 by default for testing by those who wish to engage. In testing performed so far, this greatly improves performance when running the game in the background / minimized. This will also give initial support to players on older hardware without requiring the use of alternative launch selections / launch options.
Hotfix - Fix the Reward Notification showing when the Playtime Reward hasn't dropped yet (UI issue cuz I derp'd).
Fixes Fixed Styling on Disabled Checkboxes (oops). Fixed bug with converting standard numbers to scientific notation in some instances. Additions Added display of cooldown for Reputation resets (cooldown is/has been 5 minutes, but was not indicated). Added new Challenge - World Ender Asteroids!! Protect the local colony by destroying the asteroid before it wipes out the colony! Each world ender asteroid has more health than the previous. How far can you go?? Your ship, Laser Mining Turret and Mining Drone's "mining amount" is converted to damage against these apocalyptic asteroids. Reduce them to rubble before they pass by. Each WE asteroid destroyed increases your mining/damage levels for the Player Ship, Mining Drones and Laser Mining Turrets. Challenge can't be started if a mining boost is currently in use (where's the fun in that?). Achievements Added new Achievements for the World Ending Asteroids Challenge.

Research Items with a prerequisite can be queued (if queue is unlocked), if the prerequisite item is currently being researched or is in the research queue. Fixed missing save value for Player Reputation Count (how many times Reputation cycles a player has). Fix potential issue with playtime tracking. Would also affect reputation cooldown. Fix current RPS underlying values not resetting when starting new Reputation run. Changes Added tooltip to Laser Mining Turret icon in the Upgrades bar. A couple tiny performance fixes related to warp zones. Allow entry of numbers with M and K into the Merchant's retain field (2.3k, 5M). They will automatically be converted to scientific notation. Moved showing the game guide to AFTER the basic tutorial tips are shown. Sell ore on Flyover at Forge is now off by default. Disable the ability to warp, if already warping. Changed the Reputation cooldown to be less brutal. Additions Basic tutorial / tips at start of new game to cover the very basics. Added Translation Framework. Translations have started but are FAR from complete. Fall back for missing translations is English. If you see an error with a translation, or would like to assist with the translations, you're more than welcome to reach out. Probably easiest on our Discord. NOTES There's been a lot of work under the hood to add the translation framework and first steps tutorial. If you encounter any issues, please let me know so I can resolve them. Fixes Fixed crash on warp zones if Steam not connected. Fixed wreck scan progress bar max if wreck research not yet started. Changes QOL - The merchant "set all" drop-down has 2 new options. 0 and 100. Updated the Guide to include info about the Laser Mining Turrets save/load layout feature. Additions New Warp Zone - Asteroid Field 2D20 (asteroids!) - Finally! Asteroids you can shoot and destroy for loot. Added AutoMiner reward for first asteroid mining achievements to help start of early game.
Fixes Fixed bug where Laser Mining Turrets would lose their position while warped to another asteroid field. Purchased items should auto-refresh when game is first loaded without having to "restore previous purchases". Changes Performance Increases! Optimization will be most noticeable on less performant systems, but it should be an improvement for all. Changed the Tiers of the new Wreck Scanning Research from 1-10 to 11-20. Changes how it appears in the Research View and lines up with the parts requirement needing basic T10 unlocked. Playtime Reward icon is now clickable and will take you to the Cargo hold. Changed button in Click Factory to make it more pronounced / distinguishable. Merchant text input will auto convert numerical input over 1.2Million to scientific notation.
