It is a fantasy and comedy point and click adventure set in Spain in the 19th century, in the region known as Castile, which is about a village girl who has to investigate the folk legends of Castile to fulfill her dream, to become a nun. Well, we have more insights about the spooky story: The main character of this adventure is Mara, a young, fearless, though clumsy Castilian girl. The story begins when just after a long night with her friends she has a vision of the Virgin Mary, after which she decides to become a nun. To do this, Mara goes to a convent in Burgos to become a nun. However, in order to fulfill this dream, her future mother superior assigns her a very important mission. Mara will have to investigate the mythological creatures that have been appearing around Castile, and collect an item from each of them to prove their existence so the abbot will take action and end his threat against the population of Castile... and Christianity. In Legends of Castile you can advance the story by solving puzzles and riddles, meet all kinds of characters, defeat mythological creatures using your wit, and explore picturesque places throughout Castile.
