Hi, I have been making a decent amount of progress through recent weeks. I can actually really see everything coming together which has really got me excited (well while ignoring the bugs). The single player progression base is pretty much complete. There is still a lot I need to do but once I'm just cleaning things up that's a really good path to be on. Before the release I would really like to have the multiplayer ready for everyone so I'm working hard to have the game ready for the end of year. I know when I release it everything will not be perfect but if I can get just enough working I still think it could be really fun and I could expand it if people start really enjoying it. Hi, I wish this was an update saying I'm near to finishing Emplacement but sadly for loads of different little reasons I haven't made as much progress as I had wished for. I've been considering early access but making it really cheap then just slowly adding features I want in. I would rather avoid that though. Anyway ignoring the above. I have made a decent amount of progress considering. I have implemented better progression into the game, unlocks, and upgrades. I need to still implemented feature to avoid the feel of wasting the players time but it's been easier said than done atm. Steam Strategy Fest starts soon! Which is really exciting, disappointed I wasn't able to update the demo with some of the above but... it is what it is! I will have more content soon! Hi Glaibirds, I've been working hard trying to make Emplacement the best I can possibly make it. Sadly the release has been pushed back till later in the year but it should hopefully make the game a lot better in the end. I've added 5 more levels & tried to make the gameplay a bit more user friendly after watching a few people play-through. Hopefully this feels a lot better and is a bit more engaging! Hi Glaipors, It's a bit of a delayed updated but I've been on a bit of an emtional roller-coaster with the development side. I found a few bugs that worried me for a bit and I am annoyingly late with the demo. BUT! I made it out the other end. It's just about done! Need a end screen for the demo. I have made loads of change which I was going to list here but... it's too many. I added more sound effects for units and fixed some of the sound bugs that I didn't get around to before. I also added a new game mode. I think it's looking really good. I'm excited for people to try the demo and hope they love it as much as I do. Hi! Created first tutorial levels! I think they effectly show the player the rules of the but not fully hand holding. Hoping I've found that right balance. Working on more levels just now but coming up with more ideas at the moment for single player. Have lots of ideas but only have a limited amount of time!
