We finally found the time, resources and nerve to fix some things that should have been fixed a long time ago. Without going into too much detail about why we couldn't have fixed it earlier, here's the list!
We just updated the latest iO build with some neat features: Steam Cloud Saving This feature was requested by many players. The level times are now saved in the Steam Cloud instead of locally. So wherever you play, you'll be able to access your fastest times. Unfortunately we had to reset all locally saved times in order to add Steam Cloud Saving, but we have good hope that you guys are skillful enough to recover all your times in no time. Don't worry; your Steam achievements and leaderboard times are all still there! Music player We've changed the way the audio tracks are played. In the old system, starting up a level meant starting up a new track. With the randomizer, you could end up listening to the same parts of the same tracks over and over again. A pity, because the music (created by Ronald van Wonderen) is of high quality and very serene and relaxing. With this new system, the tracks are fully played, even though you're changing levels. Enjoy the music properly! New tutorial This update also introduces brand new tutorial levels, designed to teach the basics of the game even better. Fully mastering the tutorial levels will make the rest of the game a lot easier and fun! On top of that when introducing new mechanics that aren't featured in the tutorial levels, you will find helpful texts in-game. Let us know what you think! More content coming up! Besides some minor bug fixes, these are the major features of this update. But that's not all! We have more cool stuff up our sleeves, coming up quite soon. Are you ready for new levels? DLC with 75 brand new, highly challenging levels are incoming! Stay tuned for more rolling.

Hi all, Please note that we will be wiping the Global leaderboards soon. So, if you just need a couple of Gold medals, go get them now! Achievements will be saved of course. Why are we doing this?!?!? One of the main requests post launch was Steam Cloud Saves. We will be adding this in the next update! Unfortunately to get this working we will need to reset the original times as the way we stored the times before worked quite differently. And the two do not compute. The next update will also contain an overhaul of the music system, a new tutorial for the game and UI preperation for incoming DLC. We will let you know when you can expect this update. But for now, get rolling and get those Gold medals!

Weve been working hard on improving the game experience based on valuable feedback from our players. Thank you all for your support! Heres an overview of the fixes in this quite big update. Bugfixes - Accelerating bug Fixed a bug where you could achieve faster acceleration using double buttons on a controller. Edit: also fixed for growing and shrinking. - Restart menu bug Fixed a bug where you could restart a level in the background, getting a faster time. - Little Big Adventure achievement Achievement was unavailable to some players before, this is fixed now. - Death glitch Redesigned all levels where the death glitch (achieving 0:00 time by dying and reaching exit at the same time) was possible. - Level redesigns Besides death glitch fixes we also removed all moving starts. In every level the ball now lies still, removing the time bonus you could get by starting input later. than possible. - Leaderboard times Deleted leaderboard times that were possible by glitching. Let us know if you still see times that seem impossible to you! Note that the leaderboard will be updated by the fasted times players have ever raced. So in order for this fix to work, people who glitched times should reset their times via the new Reset Stats button in the main menu (more info below). Features - Reset Times button Main menu now features a Reset Times button that will reset all your level times and medals. Dont worry, this will not reset your Steam Achievements or Leaderboard times. To all players who raced times with glitches: please reset your times via this button! If not, iO will still send your fastest ever time per level to the Steam Leaderboards. - Level selection loop The level selection now is looped, so you can go from 1 to 25 by going down. - Exit animation You can now click away the exit animation by pressing ESC. - Resolution window at startup As requested, the game will now defaultly start with a window to choose your screen resolution and will remember your last settings. You can choose to play fullscreen or in windowed mode here. - Vsync Also a request. Vsync is now enabled in quality settings "Good", Beautiful and Fantastic. For lower quality settings, we enabled target framerate. Hopefully this updates removes some issues you guys had before. If there are any questions or things aren't working as they should, please leave a comment. Enjoy the game!

There was a slight slowdown with the leaderboards, but they are live and available now on the iO Community Page! And don't worry, all times since release are safe and sound ;) Good luck racing your friends! http://steamcommunity.com/stats/324070/leaderboards/597932/
