Hello Mediators, With version 6, I decided to hold off on updating the game over smaller patches and make this update one giant patch. That's why it was a little quiet for some time. Anyway, on to version 6! It's a big patch, lots of stuff got added and lots of stuff got fixed. Below is the changelog.
Introducing, the Gunslinger
The Gunslinger a new class wielding dual pistols. Unlockable after defeating The Interstice's final boss, this addition expands the playable classes to a total of 11.
New map, Oleand Coast
Venture to Oleand Coast to defeat 6 new bosses and new enemies. This map is automatically unlocked after defeating the last boss of The Interstice and is geared towards classes that have reached upgrade level 40.
New Items
2 new items have been added. Critical Strike chance + Cooldown reduction item and a healing item.
New Spells
Version 6 has 3 new spells to add to your builds.
Better Feedback
The screen will flash red showing some feedback every time you get hit. This option can be turned off via the settings and is on by default. There is also a highlight outline that can be turned on, in case you lose your character. This setting is turned off by default and can be turned on via the settings.

Gameplay
- Gold value now shows when picking up gold items
- Added a new option to settings that will now flash the screen when you take damage. This setting is on by default

- Added treasure goblin achievements
- Steam Deck limited to 40 fps
- There is now a limit on the number of damage numbers that can be showed at once. This caused a lot of lag at end game. Player damage numbers bypass this limit
- Health bars of enemies with Weakness applied will now show as purple
- Normal damage numbers delete time slightly reduced
- Main Menu UI important text is now highlighted in yellow
- Enemies no longer get knocked back if the spell will kill them
- Spell hit sound effects are now muted when on the death (or completion) screen

- Fixed an issue with damage numbers not correctly displaying when attacking an enemy with Weakness
- Fixed an issue with enemy spell beam spell collider
- Fixed an issue with gold coins sometimes not correctly adding to total gold gained at the end of a match

Hello Mediators,
Treasure Goblins are here, these little buggers have a small chance of spawning in a level. They run around the level dropping gold. If you manage to kill them, they will drop even more gold. If you don't, they will create a portal and disappear.
Changelog
- Beating a level now gives you +2000 gold, up from +750g but it no longer stacks with resource gains from difficulty
- Gold drops gold value increased to 60g-90g, up from 20g-40g and no longer affected with resource gains from difficulty
- Treasure Goblins added, small chance to spawn throughout a level
- Increased the pickup radius of the gold drop item

Hello Mediators, Just a quick one to address some problems. Read the changelog below for more information.

- Fixed Interstice floor as sometimes enemies will spawn their spells under the floor
- Spider web shot collision box decreased as it didn't match up with the effect
- Fixed a bug that sometimes allowed games to go on for longer than 30 minutes
- Fixed an issue around flicking game video when vsync was turned off and display mode was set to exclusive fullscreen when selecting powerups or going into the esc menu
- Fixed an issue with leaderboards not correctly showing rankings
- Player can no longer level up when the game is in its win state

Hello Mediators, I hope you all are enjoying playing Nyran Survivors so far. I see a few videos online about it, really cool! It's really nice to hear from the players and watching them play (and fail!). This patch aims to sort out some issues, let's get started.
Keybinds are here
There was no way to get around the hardcoded keybinds in Nyran Survivors. Well, not anymore. In the settings, see the new keybinds screen to change keybinds. I got a few DM's about people wanting to change their keys from WASD or they couldn't play the game because they are using AZERTY keyboards. I hope this will help now.
Changes to item/spell rerolls
Before version 2, there was an unlimited amount of item and spell rerolls. This is fun and all but as we have leaderboards, this makes it less competitive. I see a few people who have over 500+ item rerolls (sus) which is unfair to those are a legitimately trying to rank. It also helps to keep it competitive as you now only have 100 rerolls to compete on the board. With these changes, leaderboards have been adjusted and rankings with over 100 item/spell rerolls have been removed.
Changes to levels
Again, there was no cap on levels, the game just kept levelling you up so you can earn more and more items and spells. Not anymore. There is now a level limit of 100, however you can level past this but the rewards will only be healing or extra gold. Upon reaching level 100, elites now have slightly more health. With this change, leaderboard rankings that have more than 100 player levels have been removed.
