A frozen wasteland with the lowest temperatures in the nine worlds, Niflheim offers beautiful but deadly landscapes. Once inhabited by mysterious mist-folk, Niflheim holds long-forgotten secrets that reward the few brave souls who dare defy the terrifying blizzards. These storms constantly crush the lands and are capable of turning even the fiercest warriors into ice cubes within seconds. Although it would seem no life could survive this icy desert, an ancient horror lurks beneath the frozen waters, devouring everything with an endless hunger… Jörmungandr, the serpent that will devour the world, was once cast into the sea by Odin, Allfather. On the top of a colossal mountain, it grows. Preparing for the Ragnarök, its destiny is to face and kill Thor during the Twilight of the Gods. In this solitary wasteland, another monstrous being awaits: Isa, the mighty Winter jotun, a being so powerful even the harshest weather kneels before him. Strongest of all jotun, Isa sleeps atop the highest peaks of Niflheim. Isa is a one hundred foot colossus, made of pure ice and rage. His powerful breath summons blizzards and his fists smash the ground with the weight of a thousand icebergs. Even Niflheim’s weather reacts to Isa’s mood. As he gets angrier, the temperature drops and the snowstorms thicken, transforming the Winter region into a truly hellish battleground. It takes burning courage to conquer the cold. Defeat Isa, the Winter Jotun, and impress the Gods! - Bruno and the Jotun Team Level Descriptions Jörmungandr’s Lake Jörmungandr, the serpent who will devour the world, lives in this dangerous frozen expanse, located on the top of a mountain. The serpent’s legendary adversary, Thor, has a shrine that guards the vile serpent. The Nine Rivers Face Niflheim’s unforgiving blizzards, while exploring the island maze to find the Isa rune, precious treasures and an ancient shrine to the goddess Freyja.
