On February 12th, the Steam Next Fest ended, and it couldn't have been better for Dashes & Squares! Throughout the week of this event, Dashes & Squares managed to enter 40 wishlists steamhappy
However, since then, there has been no news regarding the game, but everything is perfect; I just had to finish up a few pending things.
Dashes & Squares sadly has suffered an internal delay, but it's still scheduled for 2024!
Updates
- Game loading has been optimized and configured to display a loading screen instead of a black background.
- The price is setted!
- The launch DLCs are (almost) ready!
- The next steps have been organized to ensure everything goes as planned.
Modding
One of the game's main features it's the capability to add mods, and I can confirm this feature is ready, but, to make mods you need some tools for it so I started developing them. The next step it's to implement mod.io on the game to download mods regardless the platform and on the creation tool to publish your mods from the tool itself.
At the moment, the tools will include the essential to add skins and songs to the game, check out this preview!
