As a fan of Zipp's Caf, you probably heard about the World of Wilderness, the vast, and unique universe we created for our games. You may have heard about the Chicken Police too, the famous (or more like infamous) duo of detectives. Well, the time has come, the Chicken Police got its second full-length adventure INTO THE HIVE!

WHAT IS CHICKEN POLICE?

Chicken Police: Into the HIVE! is a narrative-driven, "animal-noir-satire-adventure" where you play as Sonny Featherland and Marty MacChicken, the famous cop-duo called "The Chicken Police". The game offers a city to explore, with jaw-dropping locations, amazing and weird characters, an original smoky, jazzy soundtrack, a complex and crazy conspiracy to uncover, and a 100% professional voiceover with a stellar cast! The game is all about the characters and their relationships, interrogations, clue collecting, puzzle solving, and learning about the World of Wilderness. All this in a unique 2D-3D mashup style and a photomanipulation technique, and of course with a film-noir aesthetic.

Hey, fellow baristas!

Our long-awaited biggest (and hopefully last) update has arrived, with lots of tweaks and bug fixes:

• Fixed bugs that lead to achievements not unlocking properly
• Fixed a lot of localization issues
• Fixed a bug with Art gallery pagination
• Fixed Steam SDK on Linux
• Fixed Steam Deck compatibility issues
• Fixed Notebook pagination issues
• Fixed a bug with the easy mode
• Fixed the pause menu where sometimes a softlock could occur
• Improved general controller support

We've also fixed countless (nearly 100) smaller bugs, and included lots of minor updates to improve the overall gameplay experience. Have a blast playing Zipp's Caf!

The second hotfix batch has arrived! You can read about the fixes below:

• Fixed a serious problem that was causing Linux and Steam Deck users to jam. (day 1 end progression bug)
• Fixed a couple of bugs that made some achievements unavailable. All achievements are now available to anyone.
• Fixed some Chinese and Russian localization issues.
• Cloud saving now works flawlessly.

Dear players, dear friends, dear coffee lovers.

We are working hard to give you the best experience and to eliminate any bugs - not you, Frank - you are so diligently reporting to us. The first hotfix batch has arrived. You can read about the fixes below:

• There were some problems with the Chinese translation (recipe glitch) and some missing characters, which have been fixed.
• The "librarian raccoon" achievement was not always available, this has been fixed.
• In the food-making tutorial a text window tended to get stuck. It has been fixed.
• There was also a bug during the coffee-making tutorial, this has been fixed too.
• We also fixed an issue, where 'continue' was available right at the first install of the game, which could cause some troubles later.
• In addition to other minor bug fixes, the profile system has been also redesigned.

There are still problems with some achievements, we are working on them, so you can expect another update very soon. In addition, we will be fixing several other issues in the following days, before the first really big update arrives.

While we're absolutely bug-friendly - Frank can tell you that! - we're already working to fix all technical issues and remove all bugs that detract from the game experience on all platforms. So expect bug fixes, feature- and accessibility updates very, very soon! In the meantime, keep playing and loving the game, report problems on the discussion forum, and of course leave a review if you feel the game was worth the price and gave you a good experience. It's time, ladies and gentlemen, for Zipp's Caf to finally open its doors!

But what is Zipp's Caf?

A small, cozy, and heartfelt story with some bittersweet noir seasoning for the price of a good, hot cup of coffee. You are Zipp. An ex-con raccoon trying to leave behind his former shady dealings and start a whole new life. You've renovated your old caf with a whole new menu at the edge of Clawville, the gateway to the Hive - aka the "insect ghetto". You'll meet 5 intriguing characters to unwittingly become entangled in the fabric of their lives. Love may even find you, but what you do with it is up to you!

What awaits you in the game?

The game introduces you to 5 characters, with whom you can engage in a series of exciting dialogues. You'll serve them coffee and tea, and prepare meals for hungry visitors. Occasionally, at the end of the day, you'll even have to do the dishes while giving an account of the day's events.
Zipp's Caf is a short story with two endings and some discoverable extras that will serve as an introduction to its big brother - "Chicken Police: Into the HIVE!" while both can be played and enjoyed without knowing the other.

The World of Wilderness is both a world and a brand, with several games taking place in it.
