Following my previous post, Bewitching Sinners Harlots DLC is now released on https://ceylonentertainment.itch.io/bewitching-sinners-harlots-dlc for 3 USD. Again, so sorry for not being able to post it on Steam due to rating issues. This DLC is steam build compatible, so for those who bought Bewitching Sinners on Steam can simply copy the DLC PATCH folder into the game folder inside your steamapps by default it's usually in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\ steamapps\common\Bewitching Sinners\game if you installed it in D or such, then look for your steam folder and head to steamapps, common then the Bewitching Sinners game folder. More detailed instructions in the DLC file A list of added content in the DLC are listed below:
- Ivars Second Meeting (When you meet Ylf)
- Thanes third date (when he buys books about soul bond, only triggers if bonded)
- Thanes fourth date (when you guys go lounge with cats, only triggers if bonded)
- Thanes parting event (Talking with Thane after Palmier is awakened, only triggers if bonded)
- Quills first date (when you saw the Kelpie)
- Quills fourth date (the one where he told you he blew up his home)
- Quills engagement event (Only triggers if you dont do Dietrich quest to kiss Quill)
- Arshems second date (the one where you had a picnic in Leynar)
- Arshems fourth date (the one where you met Echidna)
- Arshemss fifth date (after he confesses to going to your world in a ring of statues, only triggers if you agreed to date him on his fourth date)
- Lyall asking you for a dance (in the main story before the jellyfish festival, only triggers If you have at least 20 points with him and didnt crush Thomas, need to trigger his dance Cg by asking him to go to the dance with you)
- Lyalls second date (the one where you had a cookout in Leynar and were confronted by Mr. Vynn)
- Lyalls parting event (After you awakened Palmier. Only of you accept his love)
Just a little info on the Harlots DLC progress: the art segment is done and half of the boys' scripts are done! Here's a little sneak peek of the art with a badly aligned collage!
Hopefully if all things goes well, I should be able to release the DLC on Itch io and on my Patreon's digital store by 27th September 2024. I can't post the Harlots DLC on Steam sadly due to rating issues and other issues I rather not get into here.
However the DLC does work as a patch and works fine with the Steam build during my testing, so you just need to place the DLC folder onto the game folder and you're set. Further instructions later. So sorry for the inconvenience and if I seem a bit MIA, it's purely because I've been 2 months working on this DLC while balancing my 9 to 5.
I also want to say that the love I've received for Bewitching Sinners is amazing and I will try my best to reciprocate that enthusiasm by working on the game as much as I can! Seriously thank you, and please excuse me while I become MIA again until the posting of the release DLC probably.

Also a little bit on DLC progress, things are still doing on time, but I will probably release the Harlots DLC later in mid September as I have some health issues that disables me from sitting too long which in turns delays my drawing process. Thank you for your understanding.

Fixes recurring gifts from Thane's arena mates after the blood draining event
- Fire Starter Quest fix which lets you get endless fire starters
- Clarification for Diary Quest "New QUest" Pop up when triggered via asking Fia about the Rewrite Rune
- Minor typo fix
- Continuity dialogue fix to certain options like confronting Lyall about the fish blood prior, and tripping Lyall so that the following dialogue reaction is more fitting to the previous choice.

Due to a display issue in the gallery, the gallery is now fully unlocked from the start of the game to ensure players did not lose their previous progress. Other than that I fixed some grammar, display issue with Thane's sprite after confronting him for licking Fia, and typos reported by Emlin, thank you so much!

Bewitching Sinners DLCs are currently in production!
First is Bewitching SInners : Harlots which as the title suggest adds a little more spice into the game and will later change the game's age rating with its planned release in late August or early September 2024
Meanwhile a brand new plot and character routes (Ivar, Ignia's Palmier, and Dietrich) will be revealed in Bewitching Sinners : Beautiful Nightmare, which will also reveal a new character Oz Knightmare (very original, I know) who has some ties to the weird Dream Eater you find in game. Planned release in February 2025

Fixed bug where you can skip finding Quill on the 17/05 by going on to date Thane in the upper gardens which caused plot skipping and Quill not showing up later. Fixed a display bug during Ivar's happy ending
Regular weekly typo update as we continue to improve Bewitching Sinners quality

Fix for out of text dialogue texts during Meyza's dialogue, and minor grammar fixes. Will regularly update this if any more reports on the grammar and out of bounds texts come in. Thank you for your understanding!
- Bug fixes to Call of Ctulhu Quest when completed via submission prior to finish drinking.
- Minor continuity fix for ink quest and other continuity events.
- Patch to fix bug with Thane's "Blood Needed" Quest that uses other Blood items than Mixed Blood.

After 1.5 years of development, few hours of sleep, and a low office work and home life balance -- I can finally release Bewitching Sinners on Steam!
It's been a wild journey as a solo dev, and I know I wouldn't have made it this far without the support of all my lovely Patrons on Patreon, my story editor Requim, and my beloved friends. Been a while since I posted on Steam, and I'm sure this game is far from perfect, but I hope you had some fun with it either way and if not well thanks for giving it a shot!
I wish I can say more, but honestly... It's 11 PM when I wrote this, I still have a script I need to submit for my office job and yeah, all in all I'm just glad I was able to release this.
Apologies in advance if there are any issues, and I also have a guide up for anyone who needs it. I'll probably be asleep when this post is up, but I will check any posts or questions you have in the morning!

Just some general info and updates from the latest beta, available on my Patreon Fixes :
- Fixes in Thane's Love route and general bug fixes
- Fixes for information triggering or not while exploring and asking around map
- Dating Minigame fix, now fully playable with the difficulty rating per date being Thane, Quill, Lyall then Arshem
- Adjusted gift options and character likes/dislikes
- Selling fish mechanic, selling price changes, and price balancing, removed store items that have no use besides money sink
- Quest reward adjustment
- Info of what the bachelors like and dislike can be freely triggered after a successul date (for both likes and dislikes) or a horried date (for just the dislikes). Alternatively, players can research their likes from Merry's bar.
- Added more story and information for Keppler and certain NPCs
A New Beta is available on my Patreon!
This month's beta lets you play all the way to the endings and play out all the character routes. I also plan to release a guide, which I will probably publish for public consumption on a later date , but for now I will have it exclusively for my paid members on my Patreon! I will continue developing and polishing up Bewitching Sinners in the meantime as I have a lot of CGs to make. But with basically the story and routes done this year, I will ship those codes and scripts to my editor as I draw all the CG as she checks all my misspellings and mishaps. If my health and pace keep up, I should be able to release in April as planned! Some updates from this month's beta that will stay in the final product: 1. Balanced some personality stats effect to not lock out some choices so drastically. 2. All romance routes will have 2-3 gifts to give to our MC after they've reached a certain amount of points. 3. Added a parting event for the unchosen bachelors. 4. Scripted and coded R18 event slots, but no explicit pictures to keep current rating (Will add R18 DLC if game reaches 10K in gross profit in a year, will probably make the R18 DLC free if gross profit reaches 20K) 5. Added more events for side characters (Dietrich, Hedwin, Keppler, Poppy) 6. Extended total in-game days for better story pacing. 7. Added more side character sprites (Prim, Pike, Margaret, Vortec Blood Knights) That's all for now! I hope you all enjoy the upcoming holidays!
Happy Halloween! This month I've managed to finish the main story plot and love routes for Bewitching Sinners, meaning from this point onward the beta is fully playable to the end of the game!
For those who don't know, my Patreon lets you try out the game's beta before release and also lets you see in game CGs beforehand! The next scheduled beta is planned to be released in my Patreon on November 30th.
Besides paid member content, It also has some code snipbits and progress updates for free members!
If all goes well and my schedule keeps up as is, I should be getting everything done in April 2024, assuming my editor is also on track!

A playable demo is now available to play! If you have previously played this demo on itch.io then there are no differences than an updated patron list. If you have a mac then unfortunately the release for that will still only be on itch.io for now as I had some issues with the depot for that here, but I will keep things updated on that build!
