V1.2 Campaign & Ship Sizes Rework!

All ships apart from Phantom, Viper, Skyforce and Space Voyager have had their entire ship sizes decreased by about 40-50% each. (Massive difference) This change will not be visible in the Shipyard view. Almost all Normal Campaign levels are now much easier to beat (apart from boss fights). Slightly better optimization on all of the edited ships above. Added a new sound that plays when triggering a Checkpoint (Affected by the SFX volume slider). Added a small text guide for the first boss fight. Fixed a lot of bugs with Boost not working on certain ship colour variants after the last update. In the next update I will be reworking the Infinite Levels slightly, and remove the "NoM" variants. Going to start testing out some new feature ideas also, such as making the asteroids/meteorites destroyable by shooting them (not just missiles), but it may cause too many performance issues (we will see).

V1.1 Content Update and More!

Reworked Spec Ops Levels 6 & 7, they are now a lot better to play (had to keep level 7 mostly the same because of the trailer content). The new Spec Ops Level 8 features 2 new mechanics! There's a 40% chance for an obstacle to move fast instead of its normal speed! So everytime that you die and try again, different obstacles may be faster this time. All new Hard Spec Ops Levels will use a new mechanic where a dark fog slowly covers the majority of your screen, making it hard to see! Using the Boost will reverse this effect so that you can see clearly again! I've decided to cancel my idea of making 1 new level a day for now also, takes much longer than I thought it would, due to the quality of the levels that I make these days versus before. But the main reason is because I want to work on making the base game better before I continue making content! Added Spec Ops Level 6 Hard. Added Spec Ops Level 7 Hard. Added Spec Ops Level 8. Added Spec Ops Level 8 Hard. Fixed a bug where the Space Invader couldn't use Boost on Infinite Speed Levels. Changed the enemy Shield colours to start from Green and turn to Red when they are close to being destroyed (Much easier to understand now). Optimized all Titan Ships for better performance. Optimized all projectiles for better performance during boss fights. For the next Update, I want to nerf the Normal Campaign levels so that most players can enjoy beating the campaign without rage quitting before they get used to the movement system. I will probably remove the Infinite "NoM" Levels and leaderboards so that everybody is forced to do the Infinite Levels with asteroids (it's a much better experience but harder), I will also edit some of the infinite level stages to make it more balanced and remove those annoying parts that are impossible sometimes. Need to add a sound that plays whenever you reach a Checkpoint. Going to shrink the Titan and Hydra ships further, as they are too large. Working on adding the level from the sneak peek images still, I want to create some new bosses and make a bunch of levels before the boss fight level first though. Already made the bosses, but I haven't implemented/tested their unique abilities yet. Also need to make more levels with the same theme as Spec Ops Level 8. Oh and I need to do other stuff like adding a boss fight to the tutorial to explain the shields as some players thought the shield was deflecting all damage rather than taking damage.

v1.05 Small Content Update and Bug Fixes!

Added 2 new Spec Ops levels! Spec Ops 3 & 4 Hard versions (Dinosaur levels). Fixed a bug where beating the final boss on Hard Campaign didn't award the achievement. Fixed a bug where Leaderboard Achievements didn't get awarded. They will now be awarded when you enter the level that you have 20+ score on. Space Invader's boost audio was increased. Been working all night and day to create a new type of level, mainly need to do the boss/enemy part of the level now (might create new models/bosses for it). It's not finished yet (been experimenting a lot and learning new stuff), but should be ready by Tuesday, then the next update should be on Friday with all new levels! Here's a sneak peek! :P Image

More Bug Fixes! Special Operations Now Available!

Special Operations Level 1 will now correctly be unlocked if you have already beaten Normal Campaign mode! You may need to re-enter the Main Menu for the fix to apply. Leaderboards will now correctly show scores, unless for whatever reason (DC/Lag) it fails to download the scores from the steam servers 5 times. Made adjustments to the Special Operations menu so I can start adding lots of new levels in the future! At the moment, SpecOps lvl 6 and 7 are mainly bonus content that needs reworking to be better (got a good idea of how to improve them massively).

Bug Fixes & Quality of Life Update

Fixed Leaderboard Achievements. Getting to 20+ score on Easy/Medium/Hard will now unlock the achievement correctly (may need to load into the exact level that you have 20+ score saved on, and die to trigger it). Reworked and fixed the Shipyard, pressing "Confirm" will now correctly save the selected ship. Pressing "Back" will now correctly exit back to the main menu without selecting the last viewed ship as your selected ship. Also made the navigation a little bit better. Note: Now that i've finished fixing the major problems with the game that i know of, i will now start making some new content for Special Ops. I really like the levels that i've made in Special Ops but haven't created many of them with similar designs yet, so i'll work on that (Specifically Spec Ops lvl 1, 2, and 3.)

Audio Update!

Added 4 new Audio Sliders to the settings menu! Audio settings for the spaceship engine volume, weapon firing volume, initial missile launch sound, and the Level Completed audio that gets played when beating a level. Also fixed a bug where audio sliders didn't visually update to the correct position when changing scenes.

Take control of a new prototype spaceship that's been shrunken by new military technology to defeat the Rogue AI which threatens billions of lives with a potential black hole event.

However, upon infiltration your spaceship has been partially hacked, preventing you from slowing down! Skilfully avoid obstacles controlled by the Rogue AI and ultimately destroy the "Mega-Brain".
