Your Majesties, may the 4th... First anniversary! I have to say that I love this game. The goal was clear from the beginning: to apply everything I learnt in the first one and translate it here. It has been accomplished. On the other hand, despite having participated in a Steam Next Fest, having a better promotion (From Lex to Rex didn't have any), the wishlist and the congratulation messages, the game hasn't had the expected buzz, although, ironically, it has made more players go to the first one. In the end Lex has ended up being an extension of myself (if he wasn't already in the first one): someone who has to do everything and persists despite the odds with humour, pretty much my summary as an indie developer. Both games will be on sale during these days. Take the opportunity to grab them or recommend them if you consider it (and leaving a review too, this helps a lot). Keep playing. Lex loves you.

Greetings, Majesties, This minor patch fixes a (weird) problem when picking up the book you need in order to write the FLTR walkthrough (first stage). As I said this bug is a strange one, so please let me know if you still have the same problem. In that case I will implement another solution. Thank you so much. Majesties, Hopefully this Press Lex to Metaverx nomination in the Outstanding story-rich game category finds you full energy. Probably youve already know about From Lex to Rex nomination in the Labor of love category, and if you didnt know, now you do. • The pace of some cutscenes has been improved so they dont feel too rushed.

Greetings, Your Majesties, I have recently updated the walkthrough guide and uploaded a brand new about the achievements. Some of you have asked me how to unlock some of them so now the info is available for everybody. I hope it will be helpful. Majesties, I hope this patch finds you well. It has come to my attention through different ways that some of you got stuck in different stages of the game. If theres one thing I want you to experience and enjoy it is the story of the game, so, in order to avoid obstacles, Ive decided to create a youtube channel as a walkthrough place. FromLexTV There you will find both games stage by stage so there will no doubts about how to proceed when you find yourselves stuck (if thats the case). The Press Lex to Metaverx walkthrough will be fully uploaded during this week (there are four stages uploaded at the moment). I will also upload some videos related to both games, such as game development, pixel art and behind the scenes. I hope this improves your game experience. Majesties, strange things happenned (not to all but just one case is enough to check everything), so:

• Fixed a missed interaction in the stage with your multiple versions (diamond - painting to get a key object).
• One dialogue option appeared when it shouldnt. Fixed, however if this happens again you will still be able to choose it but wont work if youre not carrying the item, which is quite obvious (when you see it youll understand it).
• Another one I cant remember (going through all the programming melted my brain).

• Fixed carrying an inventory item from one stage to another (so if you see it dissapear dont worry about it).
• Fixed an inventory issue when dying.
• Improved some animations and paces of some cutscenes.
• Improved art of an item.
• Fixed the trigger of an achievement (if you want them all at least youll have to play the game twice).

Majesties, First of all: thanks for playing. Developing a game is hard, especially just one person. Thanks to your feedback Ive polished some minor details (some pixel out of place, two sentences that werent translated and an object sharing the same layer). Many people have written (and will write) me e-mails asking me for free keys. I want you to know that I wont give any key for free. That would be unfair to all of you who has trusted me and bought the game. I expect to have a Linux version of the game anytime soon. Majesties, Press Lex to Metaverx arrives today. Im so proud of it and everything Ive learnt. It is a bigger step from the first one in all aspects with an awesome story linked to the gameplay. Ive spent hours and hours of dedication (I truly dont want to know how many to avoid a heart attack), sometimes almost going crazy, but here is the result. Being a one-man project it is easy that Ive missed some typos or bugs, so please, majesties, just let me know and Ill fix them before you can say blueberry pie. Today is From Lex to Rex s first anniversary. It started as a feat (it really was) turned into reality. I have probably said this before, but in the end it has been a learning experience. I can assure you Ive spent many nights thinking about how solving unexpected bugs or investing more hours than any other person would just to improve the game. There were oppossed emotions, highs and lows and even once I dreamt about a character that didnt allow me to keep developing the game (can you guess which one?). Now all this is part of the experience of developing an indie game. A year later Im finishing the (unexpected) sequel Press Lex to Metaverx of which I attach a new image. There will news soon.
