Hello everyone! 0.7.4 adds our first new map since launch, a new character, and six brand new items along with them:

Challenge map: Flower Defense

Those pesky creatures have found something else to bite! Protect the blooming rose for five consecutive days, spend water to grow new big protective vegetables around it, or even call for a helping hand to aid you in the field!

New character: Tofu

The progenitor of many survivors is here! Discover Tofu's strengths and weaknesses, and use them wisely to unleash hell on those evil weeds.

New items

Pocket Knife

This multi purpose knife can stab, slash, and hit enemies all around you, perfect for when you don't have many other tools with you!

Healing Matchas

When in danger, these tea powders will save your life! The item will be consumed when going below half your maximum HP, and, in case of red and blue matchas respectively, you'll receive a huge boost to your Damage or Defense until the end of the wave.

Daisy

Turn the land into a flower field with this item. When you defeat an enemy, there's a chance that a temporary patch of daisies will grow on the ground and heal you when standing on it

Rose

Watch for the thorns! Touching enemies will weaken them, causing them to receive extra damage for a short amount of time. All the new items, character, and game mode, come with their own in-game challenges and steam achievement to unlock! Hello everyone! Solar Eclipes Games is about to go on a summer vacation, but before we do that, we wanted to show you what we've been working on:

Challenge map: Flower Defense

In this first challenge map, you'll defend the blooming flower from the most numerous horde that you've faced so far. To aid you in this endeavor, you can plant up to six new big vegetable companions to ward off those noxious intruders!

New character: Tofu

Already playable in the beta branch, Tofu will officially join the fight! This dairy free survivor is armed with only one tool (compensated by a crazy high Attack Speed), and will only heal with high quality Matcha. Both of these feature will be part of the 0.7.4 update, planned to release at the end of this summer. Hi everyone! While working on the upcoming first challenge map, Tofu has been rebalanced to be still awesome but less outright broken. Changes include:

• Matcha shrubs cost increased to match regular shrubs
• Green Matcha does not provide HP Max bonuses anymore
• Slightly lowered the amount of Water gained when skipping the tool choice

Hello everyone! With this new update we're adding a new character as well as a new progression feature. Let's get into it:

New feature: Meta-progression Garden

The Vegetable Garden in the Progress Screen is now accessible! There you can permanently improve four different stats for each character by spending Buds, a new resource that will be awarded at the end of each run.

New character: Carpenter

The Carpenter joins the fight! You'll be able to hold up to twelve tools and unleash incredible havoc on the field. But such power won't go unnoticed, for each tool you wield extra enemies will spawn. Watch out for the increasing horde! This unlockable character comes along with 3 new tools, new produce items, and 5 Steam Achievements.

New produce:

• Tier 1
  • Wheat: +1 Tool Choice (once) - Unlockable via challenge
  • Lychee: +3 HP Regen | -3% Dodge
  • Salak: +5% Tool Range | -2 HP Regen
• Tier 2
  • Ginger: +3 HP Regen | +6% Movement Speed | - 3 HP Max
  • Arbutus: +7% Attack Speed | +6% Movement Speed | - 4% Tool Range
• Tier 3
  • Lulo: +25% Attack Speed | +15% Luck | +3 HP Regen | -6% Movement Speed

Misc changes:

• The Toolbelt graphic and management system has been redesigned to accommodate a variable amount of tool capacity
• Added the option to skip the tool choice, obtaining healing and water, even when not all tool slots are filled
• Shepherd's description has been expanded, explaining more in detail each new mechanic
• The description scroll size has been increased to fit longer text
• Various localisation improvements

Bug fixes:

• Fixed a bug that caused Yellow Bell to stop working

Balance changes:

• Hiker receives a buff, with improved Damage and HP Max
