This week was well spent in overhauling the UI of the game, and as it's developed in our own engine, I added a lot of UI features that mix 3d and CSS-based UI in the game engine and in the game. Weekly Update 0.2 - UI overhaul and Fixing Discord

The demo is coming soon Within weeks now, you can already see a lot of the latest in-game content in the new gifs on the game's description page and more that are going to follow now every week, in these Devlogs! Which we call weekly updates. New Video and GIFs will always be featured until the full Demo is out for everyone, the delays in its release are all worth it and I hope everyone will recognize it when they play it, the latest build is finishing its QA, and a lot of quality of life improvements and reworks along with additional content being included in the demo, that you will all experience and hopefully appreciate the extra time I took to polish it before releasing. I beg for your patience and understanding here. The final pieces such as a tutorial and improving dice-building screens are in the works and are the last things left. Here is a first preview image of the completely new look for the game -
And this is on the most widescreen Monitor available so if you have one, along with the demo being perfectly already customized for steam deck and normal screens, now it's optimized for wider and bigger displays :) Play anywhere and see the juicy Lovecraftian graphics on your larger displays such as steam casting to the TV when demo is out with keyboard + Joystick controls! Try an Early Demo Build of Last Spartan: Glory Over Madness at Gamescom 2023!
Even if you're not visiting Gamescom this year, we still have a piece of good news for you, in our next post we will be going over more detail about this, but basically, we want to let everyone know that a FREE Playable DEMO For the game will be made available, here on STEAM for everyone very soon after the Gamescom event is concluded and we are done implementing all the feedback and bug fixes. The exact date will also be announced and it will contain more content than the Early Alpha Demo Being shown at the Gamescom steamhappy We would like to thank everyone for their support! This is our first post and our first announcement regarding the game, and it is to say Hi! to everyone and also to invite everyone who is visiting Gamescom 2023 this year, to drop by our BAD Spiele Studio booth at Hall 10.2 | Stand E012 D013 to try out an Early Demo Build of Last Spartan: Glory Over Madness and also get FREE MERCH!

Collect new and powerful 100+ Artifacts through various random encounters on randomly generated maps. Granting permanent stats/abilities for the rest of your roguelike run.
Collect 70+ unique dice faces as rewards for winning turn-based battle encounters. Dice faces can be used to customize your dice deck as you progress on your roguelike run.
