Tie your One Deck Galaxy digital games together with the new Campaign Mode! Each Campaign sees you playing a series of 6 games. At the beginning of a Campaign, you are assigned a collection of Homeworlds, Societies and Adversaries that can each offer you a number of rewards. These rewards are granted before starting each game, and carry over to all future games within the same Campaign. Each game is scored, and after 6 games, your total score is tallied up, your rank is determined, and saved as a trophy! Campaign Mode is a great way to explore all that the Galaxy has to offer, and to tie it all together to expand your federation!
A new Adversary has just been introduced to One Deck Galaxy digital: The Preservation Authority! The Preservation Authority has seen the wondrous worlds of the galaxy and has a plan to keep all these delights and discoveries available both now and forever. Its simple: they encase everything valuable within a perfectly immutable seal of cryogenic ice. A show of force might be the only way to get them to change their ways. The Preservation Authority is relentless in gathering precious Galaxy Cards for their Resources. But the more it collects, the more trouble it will cause for you! You can liberate these Resources by filling up rows on the flipped side of its Confrontation Card, but this will not gain you the Adversary Discs youll need to win the game. Can you balance making progress while not allowing the Preservation Authority to go out of control?
Fixes bug whereby reshuffling the Deck, when it no longer has any Adversary Event Cards, would cause Game Over instead of Overwhelm.
A new Adversary has just been introduced to One Deck Galaxy digital: Dark Star Syndicate! The Dark Star Syndicate is a mysterious organization of infamous charlatans who believe a number of things you know to be quite factually untrue. For example: Stars would be better if they didnt emit light. Unfortunately, they are quite well funded. Want them to stop their bad experiments? Simply prove them wrong! Theyll listen. Probably. Over the course of the game, the Dark Star Syndicate will perform a series of Experiments. You will need to spend some of your own hard-earned Science to shut down their bad ideas. Fortunately, youll earn some rewards along the way. Every so often, they will attempt their Grand Finale: to darken all the stars! You will need to foil these plans as well, with increasing difficulty. Can you still achieve your own goals while preventing the Dark Star Syndicate from getting out of hand?
Updated the Linux version, as it accidently used the beta build instead of the intended release build. Whoops!
This is just a patch to fix a bug in which saved games of the Hungry Nebula may not display the Swell effects when loaded.
Greetings, New Recruits. I am the Galactic Tutorializer, and it brings me optimal happiness to bring a new Tutorial Mode to One Deck Galaxy. Thanks to my programming, I will perfectly guide you through all the rules that you need to learn, and set you on the path towards prosperity in the cosmos. Along with this new feature, we also offer a new How to Play digital rulebook, which you may browse during your leisure time aboard your space vessel of choice. Please enjoy this update to your greatest capacity. Designers Note: Hello, Galactic Friends! I'm Chris Cieslik, designer of One Deck Galaxy (and Dungeon), and I'm thrilled that the digital implementation is coming along so nicely in Early Access. It's a complex game, and we hope that the new tutorial will help you learn all the rules of the game while allowing you to still discover and explore strategies on your own. We're working on bringing the remaining Adversaries - the Dark Star Syndicate and Preservation Authority - into the game soon, along with other cool features and content. Good luck in your Federation-building adventures! Small Features Added:
- Clicking on a Civilizations colony stats will show a breakdown of the cards that contribute to it.
- Fleets and Science show a mini-breakdown breakdown of the cards that contribute to them.
- Clarify when an Encounter card is causing an Escalation.
- By default, it is not necessary to select specific cards when spending Science. The game will handle this automatically. This can be changed in the Options.
- Show number of swells remaining per turn for the Hungry Nebula.
- Improved visibility of cards when selecting one to Exile.
- Gameplay music would sometimes loop the intro over and over.
- Total fleets would sometimes show the wrong number.
- Scientists Milestones would count Timtillawinks' Salvage as 2 techs.
- Matter Duplication showed the wrong button text.
- Cubic Farming would not support more than 3 dice (using Reverted Converter).
- Improvotron Collector would lock up when there were not at least 3 dice available.
- Hungry Nebulas influence wouldnt increase at the right timing.
- Dice placed and removed from Optimization Calibrators cache would remain large.
- Sometimes some Milestones would be earned more than once.
Thank you very much to all the eager stellar explorers who have purchased One Deck Galaxy within its first 2 weeks of release in Early Access. We hope you are enjoying the game so far, and look forward to adding more features for you in the future. A special thanks to anyone who has provided any feedback, be it reviews, feature requests, or bug reports. We read them all, and really appreciate it! We understand that navigating a galaxy can be quite challenging, and that learning how to play One Deck Galaxy has been no different. Therefore, our first priority in our next update will be to help you learn How to Play! The game currently provides dialog boxes for each phase, but we know that a more hands-on and interactive approach would be helpful. So we are actively working on a Tutorial to help you get started. Also, we will be including a Digital Rulebook so you can become familiar with the ins and outs of traversing the Galaxy of a single deck! We hope to release these to you as soon as we have completed them to our satisfaction. Until then, keep on exploring!

Roll your dice and cleverly use them to build up your civilization from its humble homeworld, growing to create a Federation spanning the countless star systems of Insula, a distant corner of our galaxy.
Each time, build a new civilization (or two) by combining a Homeworld and Society. Each Homeworld has a unique ability, starting tech, and milestone. Each Society has a unique ability, 3 milestones, and a unique tech that powers up the more milestones you achieve.
- 5 Homeworlds: Elemens, Felisi, Plumplim, Timtillawinks, and Zibzab
- 5 Societies: Botanists, Explorers, Guardians, Mathematicians, and Scientists
You’ll need to:
- Establish colonies to gain more resources and most importantly: more dice!
- Develop techs that grant you powerful new abilities.
- Study locations and launch probes to further your scientific research.
- Build fleets to extend your influence throughout the galaxy.
- Achieve milestones that signify the growth of your civilization.
All of these goals are accomplished by effectively managing and using your dice, focusing your efforts on what you deem most important. All of your dice will be useful in some way, regardless of the roll, so One Deck Galaxy is a game more of strategy than luck!
Standing between you and your cosmic destiny each game is one of several Adversaries (3 Adversaries available in Early Access):
- Neeble-Woober Colony Fleet - Sentient cephalopods with a simple belief: They're the best!
- The Hungry Nebula - A mysterious space phenomenon that seems to swallow everything in its path.
- The Optimization Calibrator - An Interstellar Social Media Entity that knows you, what you want to do, and what you should do.
- Dark Star Syndicate - A mysterious, scientific organization that wishes to dark all the stars.
- Currently in Development: Preservation Authority
You’ll have to split your efforts between growing your own strength and confronting them directly. Every Adversary has its own set of rules and abilities, and you’ll need to come up with different plans and tactics to defeat each one!
With hundreds of possible setups, One Deck Galaxy is a different experience every time you play!
