-All engineer squads now only have 1 grenade per soldier

-Skoda 75mm gun range increased by 15 meters, cost reduced by 10 points
-225mm mortar cost reduced by 11 points

Italy:
-Fiat 2k price +20, cooldown +15, command points +10
-Carcano rifle damage now same as all other rifles
-Howitzer cost reduced from 115 to 100 points
-Soldiers rifle ammo count increased from 90 to 150

Germany:
-Jagers now have same amount of ammo as riflemen
-Jagers speed increased from 0.9 to 1.1
-Stormtroopers now have same health as stormtroopers in other factions (from 150 to 300)
-21cm Mrser cost reduced from 160 to 140 points

Many players complain that the Windows Defender detects the game launcher file as a virus. We have sent the game build to Microsoft for investigation. The answer came yesterday and it was: no malware detected.



The problem is due to outdated version of Windows Defender. Everyone who has encountered same problems with downloading and installing the game, needs to install Windows Updates. If for some reason you do not want to install updates, you need to add game folder and Steam download folder to Windows Defender exceptions( C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Battle of Empires 1914-1918

Note that in version 1.5 the rules of work with the registry files have changed (with the extension .reg).

Before it was like this
Game engine loaded only /set/registry.reg
Everything else (from the folder / set / registry and not only) had to be explicitly added to /set/registry.reg through directive (include ...)


How it works now in version 1.5.
The engine finds and loads all the files with the extension .reg. And each file is loaded into the registry root. As a result, registry files are split into two disjoint groups: those that relate to the scene, are in /set/registry, and those that are to the interface - in /interface/registry. But this is just a convention.



What it gives?
Now you can create your own mystuff.reg files in your mods and packgages and the game will see them with no problems.

Gameplay of Austria-Hungary is somewhat different from other nations, due to a unique set of units. Players will test their skill in controlling infantry, artillery and light vehicles, to challenge the rest of the nations.
