Hey everyone, I've got some good news for you!
"An Evening of Wonders" will be released on the 4th of November!
The game is ready and has been approved for release by Steam, so nothing is going to change the release date. I'm really excited for you all to finally play the game! It's much different from my other game ("Tune in to the show"), but I hope you'll enjoy it :)
See you on November 4th,
RobertDeadth

Hey everyone, here's an update on how the development of An Evening of Wonders is going and my current plans for the game's release!
When I first created the store page for this game, I expected it to be released pretty quickly. As is usually the case in life, my plans turned out to be very wrong. I was focused on creating new updates for my other game, Tune in to the show, and not much work was being done on An Evening of Wonders. Finally, after Episode 7 of Tune in to the show was released, I decided to take some time off that project, instead focusing on finishing this game so that it could finally be released.
Because I'm currently only working on An Evening of Wonders, the work is going well and the progress is quick. I think that I should be able to finish working on the game before the end of September. Once that's done, I'll switch to working on the next Episode of Tune in to the show with the goal of releasing it before the end of the year.
So, when can you expect An Evening of Wonders to be released? My current idea is to release the game at the beginning of November, most likely on the 4th. This should give me around a month to send the game to curators and do some marketing to get the wishlist numbers up. It'll be my first time releasing a smaller, completed game onto Steam, so I've no idea what to expect, but I'm hoping it goes well and you all find the game enjoyable.
If you'd like to follow the development more closely, I post weekly development updates on my Patreon account every Sunday. These aren't behind any paywalls and I've been posting them every week for almost 3 years, so feel free to check those out if you're interested.
I'll most likely make another development update post on Steam around the end of September.
That's all for today, thanks so much for reading, I hope you're all doing well,
RobertDeadth

Hey everyone, I thought it'd be a good idea to give you all a small update on how the game's development is progressing.
Overall, the work has been going well recently. I'm primarily focused on developing Tune in to the show but I'm able to work a lot on both games. I'm estimating that around 20% of the game is completed right now but that number should increase pretty quickly in the upcoming weeks.
It's difficult to say when the game's going to be ready for release, but I'm aiming for either February or March. An Evening of Wonders will be released as a complete product with a few different possible endings (basically, one 'true' ending and a couple of 'bad' endings). It's going to be my first time releasing a smaller, completed game on Steam so I'm not sure what to expect, but I'm hoping the game will prove to be a fun experience.
Anyway, right now I'm focused on writing the script and creating renders. Once most of the game is ready, I'll give some more thought to the marketing side of things, create a nice trailer, improve the store page, send the game to some curators, etc. Thanks so much to everyone who added the game to their wishlists already, especially since there isn't much info about it yet.
In any case, I'll see you all in January with a new update on how everything is progressing. Thank you so much for your interest and reading, hope you're doing well,
RobertDeadth
