Hello everyone, we just released a small update containing following changes.

• Improvement: Added the ability to freeze the floating Spirit in a place (also unfreeze it) since some found it distracting.
• Bug fix: The windows icon was missing 48x48 and 256x256 resolutions
• Bug fix: The map icon would not display correctly on some devices
• Bug fix: Logic related to 100% 3-A and 3-B worked incorrectly. Some levels from 3-A were counted for 3-B and vice versa. While this did not prevent you from 100% both areas, it would cause confusion as you'd be missing a level in 3-B but the game would tell you it's in 3-A.

• Improvement: Added more audio slider options for better customizability - Master, Sound, Music
• Bug fix: You could grab specific desktop buttons when in dark levels
• Bug fix: The candle icon (which displays how many candles you collected) would not display correctly on some devices

Hello everyone, we released a small update addressing a couple of issues related to yesterday's big update.

Fixed issues

• Music now stops after you leave credits
• Clippo no longer cheers on you after defeating a Critling if he is already dead
• Help button no longer flashes if there are still unasked questions and Clippo is dead
• Added localization for poems
• Added localization for messages about 100% sections
• Map is now localized

Hello everyone, we just released a big update for Crossroad OS which brings many exciting things, both new content and improvements, localization and last but not least many bug fixes!

What's new

• Support for multiple profiles. This also allows for an easier way to start a new game
• New gameplay, lore content and even a character you can meet
• Improved gamepad controls
• New Steam achievements
• Added Spanish - Spain, Spanish - Latin and Czech localization, more coming in the near future!
• Improved the layout of the 1-B area and first maze room
• Changed the rewind effect and made it easier on the eyes
• The white boxes related to Web you pick up have new models to better signal what they actually do
• Added scaling difficulty (lowering speed) to the Critlings desktop and monster section.
• Adjusted the volume of some music and sound effects
• Bombs now have a particle effect when exploding
• Crates that react to gravity wouldn't change their animation based on what the gravity was set to.
• Many smaller details for better polish such as new sounds

If you wish to see all of the new lore, you will have to start a new game as it is spread out all across the game.

Fixed Issues

• Soft-lock if you closed the web installation. Now you can access it again from the maze
• Soft-lock when the monster caught you while holding onto a door handle
• When you'd free Clippo, a visual effect could stay in place around the help button
• Ice block rewind worked incorrectly, allowing you to make illegal moves
• It was possible to drag the Crossroad-opening buttons on desktop while not on desktop
• Credits no longer cause the game to change the window mode and can be exited properly
• In Web you can no longer click on walkeable spots through walls
• The game's launcher didn't read your preferred window mode setting
• Custom cursor color didn't affect all the cursor icons
• If you don't pick up the phone in Web and go back to desktop, the ringing sound will stop shortly after instead of playing until you pick it up

Hello everyone, just a released small update addressing a couple of issues. Fixed the following issues

• 2 puzzles were too large and you couldn't see the entire window. Their solution has not been changed in any way, the levels just take less space now and therefore display properly now
• Changed the order of the puzzles Blue 3 and Blue 4 so they go in a proper order difficulty wise. Blue 3 is now Blue 4 and vice versa
• Changed the puzzle RING, it had an unintended solution where you wouldn't have to interact with the middle part of the level.

• Chess pieces can no longer move through bombs
• Adjusted collision box for trash items in the web.exe, caused progression issue for some
• Spikes would behave incorrectly when rewinding back
• When facing off some critlings, their dialogue line would be skipped, requiring you to restart the puzzle for it to be displayed.
• Out of bounds fixes for the maze

However, sometimes the prompt to cut the web would stay on screen and if you clicked it again, the game would crash. This has been fixed. If you would free Clippo and not interact with the maze correctly, you could not progress further. This has been fixed now and even if you interact incorrectly, you will be able to progress.
