Paris Transylvania Update v0.036

Hey all! A major updated demo is FINALLY here for all of you to sink your teeth into :) We are so excited to bring you this update full of new content and bug fixes... including new playable characters! We have lots of goodies in this v0.036 release! Watch us play it live on March 27th at 12/noon PT, and you can play it too, for free here on Steam! Join our Discord and please give us feedback on anything - bugs, new content ideas, difficulty balance, areas of improvement; your help is appreciated!

Whats new in the Demo:


  • Three playable characters - now you can play as one of the accidental heroes: Marie Antoinette, who escaped the guillotine in Paris; Jiro, the mysterious ninja with a shadowy past; or Froggy, who fled from a plate in a fancy restaurant. Each has their own unique set of cards. (With more planned)
  • 25 fully implemented cards (a lot more to come)
  • 15 relics (a lot more to come)
  • 18 different peg boards (a lot more to come)
  • Mysterious events that can help or harm you.
  • Gameplay Length: 30 minutes of unique content, but endlessly replayable for building massive builds.
The final game will offer endless exploration and high replayability, with a single runtime of approx. 60 minutes. Explore three expansive world maps, packed with more than 100+ cards and relics, mysterious events, challenging encounters, thrilling boss fights, and numerous secrets, unlocks and items to be found. Welcome to the world of Paris Transylvania - a vampire-slaying Pachinko Roguelike Deckbuilder.


Play as Marie Antoinette, the cake-loving last queen of France, who narrowly escapes the guillotine in Paris and accidentally runs off into Transylvania. Here, you must battle the mighty vampire clans to reclaim your rightful place at the pinnacle of power. During your journey through Transylvania, you'll team up with fellow rebels, unlock these characters, and put an end to these bloodsuckers once and for all!

  • Ever-Changing Transylvania: Maps change with each journey. Choose paths, face different enemies, encounter random events, and confront various bosses.


Paris Transylvania combines the mechanics of Peglin and Slay The Spire, but with a fresh twist in both format and gameplay. Play cards in any order and choose your path without RNG. The boss fights will keep you on your toes, with extravagant creeps and heart-pounding retro minigames adding to the excitement.
