Greetings, It has been brought to our attention that the WAN online mode of Bombing Bastards was no longer working because of server issues. Unfortunately, at this point in time, this game having been released in 2014 and being way into its long tail, we do not have available and affordable skills and know-how to fix this issue. We have therefore edited this store page to remove references to WAN multiplayer. If playing online is your expectation, please do not buy this game. Local multiplayer (either LAN or on the same computer) is still functional. Cheers.

Greetings, Version 1.3.6. is now available. In online battle mode, when you create a game, it will throw a warning if it detects that you are not reachable from outside as a host (but it will let you create the game anyway). When you join a game, it will throw a warning if it detects that the host is not reachable from outside (but it will attempt to join anyway). As a reminder, for the host to be joinable from outside, the UDP and TCP ports 15127-15129 must be open for both upload and download. This depends on the UPnP router configuration, and, in some cases, on the internet service provider. Such issues appear on most games that use peer-to-peer online multiplayer - not just this one. The alternative would be to replace the peer-to-peer system with a server-managed system, but this would be too costly on our side (in terms of both implementation and server resource usage). For information about opening the ports on your router, please refer to this website: http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm Cheers.

Hi folks, We made it! The game is now available on Mac and Linux. A non-Windows computer is no longer an excuse. Enjoy!

Hi everybody, We have just released the version 1.3.3. Go to the Options menu, then the Control submenu: you will find fully configurable controls for all 5 players. It is now possible to play either way you want: only with game controllers, or multiple players on one keyboard, or any mix of that. By default:
- Player 1 plays with Arrows/Space/Alt/Control OR with Controller 1
- Player 2 plays with WASD//C/Z/X OR with Controller 2
- Player 3 plays with numeric pad (8456/0/Period/Enter) OR with Controller 3
- Player 4 plays with TFGH/N/M/Comma OR with Controller 4
- Player 5 plays with IJKL/Semicolon/Quote/Return OR with Controller 5

Greetings, Please ignore the latest update (1.3.0): we are working on configurable controls for all players, but it is still in development and not fully functional. We uploaded the version too soon by mistake. This will not prevent you from playing the game normally. Just be aware that the newly added control configuration dialog is not working properly in all cases. We will fix this in a few days. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Greetings, We just released an update (1.2.1) with the following changes:
- The game now runs at proper speed regardless of your screen refresh rate. This solves a bug encountered by people with high-end PCs: the game was running at half speed when the refresh rate was 120 Hz.
- The graphic settings (full-screen/windowed and resolution) are now configurable in the option menu, as opposed to a dialog at launch. This makes the game compatible with "big picture": you can launch it and play it entirely with a controller.
