Time for another update :)
Due to popular demand, we've added several translations to Medieval Battlefields:
Croatian
Spanish
Italian
Dutch
Polish
Portuguese
Swedish
A new build is now available on Steam.
This is the first in a broad effort to translate our games to more languages, and to make sure all our games have a Croatian translation!
We're from Croatia, so it's a matter of pride to have our language represented ;)
PS: If you notice any bad translations while playing the game, please write in the discussion forum. Since we're not native speakers of most of these languages, we can't confirm ourselves if everything is perfect, but will gladly update the game with any translation corrections if reported!
Also, if anyone would like to translate the game to another language, feel free to reach out, we can send you files for translations and if you succeed, we'll include your name in the credits (like we did with the French translation recently).
Enjoy!
Hi Everyone, New builds of Medieval Battlefields are now available for all platforms. This time we're bringing 2 significant improvements: 1) HD Graphics Most of the graphics in this game is "lowres" since the game was made long ago. We've attempted to modernize this by upscaling existing graphics and re-rendering what we could find source materials for. The result is not 100% perfect but looks pretty good in our opinion. We hope you'll like it. (If you don't, you can turn it off in the game settings). This features is available if you have at least 1080p resolution on your screen. 2) French Translation The game has now been translated to French! A big thanks to Florent Ladant for the effort. If anyone else is interested in helping us translate this game (or any of our other games), please contact us at support@cateia.com, we'd be glad to include all community translations in future updates! Also, included are several minor bug fixes and typos in texts found by players over the past few months. We support all our games long term, and will make updates even if something as small as a typo in the texts is fixed. So please don't hessitate to report any problem with the game, no matter how small.
We're happy to announce we've released the Linux version of Medieval Battlefields! As far as our games are concerned, Linux is no longer a "second-class citizen", we're rolling out Linux support for ALL games in our catalogue and we will continue to support our games on all 3 major Steam platforms with updates from now on. Everything works nicely, we tested the game on many Linux distributions as well as Steam Deck. We built the game for Linux according to Steam developer guidelines so we don't expect much problems, but if you do encounter issues, please write in the Discussion forum and we'll investigate. Also, if you play this game on Linux and everything works, we'd still love to hear from you and know which Distro/CPU/GPU you use.
