Unsupervised is a 700,000-word interactive superhero novel by Lucas Zaper and Morton Newberry, where your choices control the story. It’s entirely text-based—without graphics or sound effects—and fueled by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination. Which is not as cool as an actual superpower, but you get the idea.

Supervillains are running amok, an intergovernmental agency is cracking down on metahumans, and a deadly new drug plagues the streets–on top of all the personal stuff you have to deal with, like a pesky reporter trying to uncover your secret identity and a childhood friend in dire need of help.

It’s not easy being a superpowered teenager, but at least you are not alone. Other sidekicks roam the world, seeking purpose and solace, and it is up to you to find and lead them.

Will you become known as the next generation of superheroes, the most dangerous supervillains of all time, or something in between?
