Argumentum ad culpam has been released!

Congratulations to everyone who has been waiting. Argumentum ad culpam is finally here.

It was a difficult year for us in many ways, but we are glad that game has been released, and so we hope that you will have an interesting experience with it.

The English translation may have problems in some places, as it was not done by a native speaker. We will continue to work on it after the release, so if you find any mistakes, you can write to us here. Also, if you are a native English speaker and would like to help us with editing the text as a fan of the work, we would be very grateful.

Devlog Part 6

Greetings everyone! This is the sixth and last part of the devlog.

We are delighted to inform you about the final date of the release of our game: April 8, 2024.

It was a long year, and we want to express our gratitude for your support and trust. The last one is a concept that may help you survive in the Scarlet Fortress or brutally murder your very spirit. So let this note be a little hint for your future entertainment.
We shall meet in the Scarlet Fortress, and may Nodleran be merciful to you.

Devlog Part 5

Hello everyone. It's the fifth part of devlog.

Due to some circumstances we can't release the game this year, so our final aim is February of the next year.

But there are soe good news: the number of endings has increased to 13, and we decided to add a flowchart to the game (opens after first game) to help you navigate the plot branches for a convenient and pleasant experience.

In addition, we are thinking about adding a glossary of terms for better understanding of the plot, since the novel has its own in-game terminology as well as there are different real worlds' allusions, concepts and words such as Candide's speaking in Latin.

Devlog Part 4

Hello everyone! Here comes the fourth part of the devlog.

All of the content for the second battle has already been made. Also, the first battle was improved with some graphics you'll see in the full version.

As for now, we can't say the exact date of release, but you can expect it in November or December of this year. We think that in the next part of the devlog we will be able to inform you about it more clearly.

Devlog Part 3

Hello everyone. We have finally released a demo version of our game!

We hope you enjoy playing it as well as we enjoyed making it. Write what you like the most, what you think about the story and which side you were on, of course. Also, we will gladly read your thoughts about bugs, typos, and other inconveniences, and we will do everything to correct them in full game.

Devblog Part 2

Hello everyone! We are continuing with the monthly devlog.

We have good news: the game will have Ukrainian voice acting. If everything goes well, you will be able to hear it in the demo version, which will be released in July.

We finally made a trailer for the game. We continue to work hard on the demo version: the Ukrainian text is ready, as are most of the graphic. Translation, dubbing, and finishing of graphic elements remain. We have also been thinking about achievements in the game; although the demo version won't support this feature, you will be able to see them in the full game.

Devblog Part 1

Hello everyone! We will try to release a devblog every month about our progress and plans.

We are currently preparing for the Steam Visual Novel Fest and developing a demo that will cover the prologue and the first battle. This way, you can try the game before purchasing it.

The interface has already been finished, and now the artist is making extended versions of all the backgrounds. We are also thinking about adding optional books that will give additional information about the world but are not mandatory to read (they will also give certain bonuses in battles).
