Patch 1.0.1
Fixes
- Fixed a spot in the first boss level where it was possible to get stuck.
- Fixed a bug that would cause the player to freeze if the grappling hook was used too quickly against a wall.
- Fixed winged eye enemies not registering hits correctly. Previously you would hear the hit sound even though the enemy hadnt actually been hit because it was not updating its hitbox correctly.
- Fixed a problem that would cause the player to be permanently stuck on the map screen if they quit the first level before finishing it.
- Fixed lights in the Dark Tunnels not properly resetting their lit/unlit state after the player respawned.
- The sound of swinging the sword is now slightly lower.
Yes, Ancient Mind is releasing on the 19th of November at 5pm GMT / 6pm CET / 12pm EST / 9am PST! After 3 years of working as a solo developer I can finally say that Ancient Mind has an official release date! Working on this game has been the longest ant the best journey of my life and it fills me with joy to put that date up for the public! There are already some content updates planned for the future, so stay tuned. I should also mention that the demo has been deactivated, since it is outdated and no longer indicative of the complete game. If you have downloaded the demo previously you can still run it from your file system. You can watch the latest trailer on the store page or here: [previewyoutube=6PKnXqyhDOw;full][/previewyoutube]

This game will put your spacial awareness to the test with a sequence of environmental puzzles, levels characterized by a non-linear structure made of keys and locks, dungeons full of monsters, traps, and riddles. Even with a map, you will still need to pay close attention to your surroundings if you want to find your way to the end safe and sound.
Ancient Mind is a modern take on the classic top-down action adventure. Fight monsters with your sword and use tools such as a grappling hook and torches to overcome obstacles and reach new areas. Items like bows and arrows are not only useful in combat, but also for triggering mechanisms in ancient temples. You will find new items as you progress into the game, unlocking paths even in already explored areas.
Legends tell many stories about these lands, stories about an uncertain past. This region was once inhabited by an ancient civilization that now appears to have vanished into thin air, leaving behind nothing but ruins. Will you find the answers you're looking for? There might be clues behind every corner.
